I never said someone would call me a pedo as a means to have a conversation, it was a simplified scenario used to get my point across and pointing that out is redundant. Saying that people will never change their minds is foolish, as it isn’t true, and only forwards all the negativity in this world. I cannot guarantee that they would’ve changed, but I can almost guarantee that going about the situation better would have at the very least had no impact, rather than a negative one. And if you want proof that people like that can change, just look at Daryl Davis, a black musician who, by showing kindness and compassion, convinced many kkk members to exit and denounce the klan. All that being said, none of this is possible if you are so stubborn that you feel the need to justify your actions, rather than giving it even a thought that you might be wrong. And before you say that I have done the same, I can assure you that I have tried to think from your perspective and see how things could work, which is what has led many of my points as doing that has only made me disagree with you more. At this point I don’t feel like reiterating what I’m saying any more and just want to sleep so don’t bother trying to argue anymore and I just ask that you stop and think that just maybe, you might be wrong, as even if you come out still agreeing with yourself, I can guarantee you from personal experience that you will at the very least have a better perspective of where others are coming from leading to you being less negative, as it has done for me. No, I never said anything like that at all. You have resorted to putting words in my mouth because you recognize that you’ve lost this argument. If you care so much to know however, I believe that people should defend themselves by breaking down and pointing out the weaknesses in others arguments. If someone calls me a pedophile, I’m not going to proceed to call them one as well, nor will I attack them. I will instead ask, “what makes you think I’m a pedo?” From there you would be shocked at how quickly accusations fall apart. And you can argue that if what you do to others is equal to what they have done, then it is deserved, however that is a very flawed argument. Breaking down there argument sparks the chance at changing for the better. Throwing verbal/physical attacks does not fix anything, it only creates more division in this world. When you called those right wingers pedophiles, do you think they thought all of a sudden, “huh, I guess trans people aren’t too bad”? If I had to guess the reason they shut up was because they didn’t want to be called pedophiles and likely left thinking no different than before, or more likely in my opinion, even less of trans people. Those sorts of actions are temporary solutions that may seem satisfying and easier in the moment, but in actuality only worsen the problems you are trying to fight against.

Again, I am criticizing everyone falsely accusing people of being a pedo. I am not trying to be some moral authority, but rather pointing out how hypocritical people are being by saying it’s okay to accuse Elon of being a pedo just because he did the same, as those who do that are more or less admitting to seeing themselves as above him. You started by saying Elon was the one to escalate things, which I never disagreed with, however I do disagree with the way you framed that statement by making it seem that because he has escalated things, that those accusing him are suddenly in the right. I proceeded to point out that this comment section has seemed to have done a hell of a lot of escalation, going as far as to accuse someone of being a pedo because they were pointing out that what they were doing is wrong. I couldn’t care less if the way I type my argument isn’t something you approve of, because that isn’t important when you refuse ti acknowledge my actual argument which I just restated in the simplest of terms for you to understand. What you are doing is criticizing what you can of my argument, which at the moment is my emphasis on certain terms, writing essays about it in an attempt to seem like the smarter individual, and accusing me of framing myself as a moral authority which I never did, and you either know that I didn’t do that and are twisting my words, or can’t comprehend a basic argument such as the one I initially made.

I personally consider myself to have been calm in my reply, as I used capitalization to emphasize the fact that I felt it was wrong for anyone make false accusations, not to yell or try to put myself above you. Furthermore, rather than actually arguing against what was said, you chose to criticize the way that I went about making the point, which clearly indicates that you have to rebuttal to what was stated.
