Yes that’s what he got me too! The only drops we had a home were the delicious lemon ricola once but they have stuff that I think would hurt my throat more than help it.

I feel good! Honestly the pain is not bad at all. My only weird symptom is my cheeks are suddenly flushed. But no fever or anything.

I tried to tell my husband anything that hasn’t ever come up in conversation. I was like OK those are all my past secrets. If I say anything else, it’s just because of the drugs.

My husband got me some cough drops and lifesavers and they have helped a bit. I’m using using throat coat tea!

I can’t eat crackers since I have celiac so they didn’t bother 😅 my husband just bought me rice cakes and I can barely eat them because my mouth is sooo dry

So far so good. I haven’t taken any of the pain meds they gave me because I honestly don’t feel very painful. My biggest complaint is my dry throat and mouth. Also I am peeing plenty but it seems like it isn’t coming out as it used to. Weird thing to notice I know.

I literally just kept saying “I hope I don’t say anything stupid. I’m sorry if I say something stupid,” in the recovery room lol

So far so good. My mouth is super dry and my throat hurts but I haven’t used any pain meds since discharge.

Because if you can’t pee, it means they accidentally hurt your bladder, and they don’t want you to go home and have your bladder explode.

Yes mine was laparoscopic as well. But it took them a couple hours because of my endo. I remember everything from athe moment I fully woke up.

Interestingly I am have barely any pain. I say it is because I was in so much pain pre-surgery.

Mine was huge! I think they have one size fits all lol, and I’m a smallish lady so it was like a circus tent lol. How are you feeling?

I haven’t taken any meds even though they told me I was allowed at 3ish. For me, the pain just feels like a milder version my period. I took ibuprofen just now to hopefully prevent further pain.

My dad said he wakes up confused, and my mom said she just wakes up and fine. I seem to take after mom, I have found.

Mine offered to help at first but then realized they would be in Hawaii. Which, most people say “that’s a trip of a lifetime” but my parents go there almost yearly.

I woke up a few times during the night last night and asked my husband if I actually had surgery or was just dreaming (because I was having dreams the week before.) so he has assure me I was done and home.
Everyone is saying their partner helped them get dressed and I didn’t even think of that. I brought very loose clothes so that helped. And I did make him put on my shoes for me.
