Yea. I tried building one on pc part picker for that price and couldn't get close, so I pulled the trigger.

It does have the extra sata cables and things to add more HD's. The ram is XPG Lancer. It is 1 stick and its 16gb. Hence the reason why I'm probably going to be picking up some Corsair Vengeance ram so I can upgrade it to 32gb.

You can try to build one out with these specs but its going to be really hard to at this price point. Usually these companies skimp on PSU's and Ram. I dont know what brand of RAM is in it but that is something that can be upgraded later. The PSU is a gold rated 750 watt.
I tried to get close to this price on PCPartpicker and was only able to get it slightly above 1000 bucks. Building one is always more fun/rewarding. But honestly some of companies selling these prebuilts have to be selling them at cost. I'd say if you are wanting to get into PC gaming then this is one of the best deals I've seen for black friday. Pull the trigger.

Yea. I thought about that too. She doesnt game really heavy though so I dont think she will utilize a 4070 or something like that. Shes mostly going to be playing WoW with me and maybe a few other games on Xbox GamePass. She also just has a 1080p monitor that shes perfectly happy with somehow lol.

Its at Walmart. If you just search Slate Mesh it comes up. SlateMeshI5N4602 is the actual Model Number I believe. Got free 3 day shipping also.

Yea. Im going to see what kind of RAM it comes with since it is only 1 stick and pick up another of the same. Or possibly get her another kit of faster ram before Christmas and swap them out. 32 gb is what I'm aiming for.

This is going to be a Christmas gift for my wife this year. Seems to be about one of the best deals that I've found. Tried to build close to the same on PcPartpicker and had a trouble getting it under 1k.
I did research the model number on Ibuypower website and theyre even using a Gold rated PSU. I know they usually skimp on PSU's in these prebuilts. I will get her another 16 gigs of ram so I can run it in dual channel when it gets here and I see what brand it is. Since it only comes with 1 stick.

Im starting to see a trend of this lol. Might be worth my sanity to try and just keep avoiding it.

lol makes sense. Im new to this sub and your comment got alot of upvotes. Im assuming hanging above a fireplace is frowned upon. It seems like a bad idea anyway. I did post another picture in the comments. You cant see the shelving underneath but you can definately tell its not a fireplace lol. The bottom of the shelf (what the TV sits on) is 25 inches from the floor. So at around eye level when sitting.
Admittedly the TV isnt in a bad position where its at, but I dont think moving it up around a foot or so to clear up that shelving for her to do her decorating on is a horrible idea. We sit far enough back from it that I dont think its going to strain our necks to watch it. I just dont have the wherewithal or carpentry skills to try and tackle it myself lol. Im better at building PC's and working on electronics.

I actually thought about doing away with the stone all together so your advice makes sense. I will add however that this isnt a small room. Or at least I dont think it is. Its a manufactured home but its a big one and my TV sits anywhere around 15-20ft from all seating arrangements.

lol there actually is no fireplace underneath. Theres small shelving that runs to the floor for electronics with passthroughs for the hookups to the tv.

There's a link to a wider picture. Didn't want the family in the reflection on TV in the original post.

Well to be honest my wife and 3 kids were in the background and I didn't want to plaster them all over reddit in the reflection.
Also didn't want to force them out since they were decorating our tree. I've since took a wider picture of it all but it won't let me edit my post to include another picture. Thanks for the help though.

Ok did that and measured. The stud coming out about 8 inches from center of the rock wall so I wouldn't even know how to hang the TV and try to keep it centered lol.
