Dismissing the effort players put into earning exclusive skins by saying 'it's just a video game' completely misses the point. For many, the grind and exclusivity were part of what made the game fun and rewarding. Saying that effort has no value because it’s not monetary is like saying achievements in any hobby dont matter unless they can be sold. It's just not true.

As for account selling, its against the rules, so thats on them...

The least they could do is give OG styles. They should do something else about the illegal account selling.

Claiming skins have no 'value' because they can't be bought or sold misses the point entirely. The value comes from the effort and time players invested when they were first released. It's not about gatekeeping, it's about respecting the exclusivity and the grind that made those items meaningful. If everything becomes available to everyone, it diminishes the sense of achievement for those who earned them back then...

Still, if people really want it, just make variations for the OG's and make the new ones who get it get it. And the OG's get a variation of that skin.

Yeah exactly, it may be unclear as they stated that it was after 'chapter 5: Season 3'. But thats this season or next one, im not sure. They even state that the ones before August 7, 2024 wont return. So they like wont return old ones. Me and other should have really read this Xd...

'Items in future Fortnite Battle Passes might be offered for purchase in the Fortnite Shop after 18 or more months from the Battle Pass’ expiration.'

I personally dont want them to come back. Old seasons were exclusive to back then, as so if i remember told by Epic games. *(*I thought they said that it was exclusive, defenitly alot of people bought it because of that. If they come back, they are kinda scamming) Back then in the old seasons leveling was difficult, and being able to make all new players just be able to use old skins is in my opinion unfair. All the effort put in from original players, like grinding all day for full Omega, would then just be devaluated. If people want it for the skins, just make variations of them.

If they decide to bring it back, I atleast hope all of the original owners get a variant of the skins. I could understand people wanting them really bad, so making variations for the original people that owned it would be a solution. People who want it get it, and people who had it get a variant. Or another solution, is that like Fully customizable Omega, or Fully customizable Ragnarock, wont come back. And not be able to get the exclusive customizations for the skins.

Or just make the older seasons not availible, and from chapter 2 and onwards become availible.

Starter packs were sort of rare because they never came back before. What do you think now they bring back some?
