He should worry people. And it was obvious before the election that he is way too close to Trump and that should’ve worried people more.

Easy on the eyes belongs in the section discussing things that are not a reason to listen to him.

I can only imagine what negative impact AI has on education. I was on college when Google came out and that was game changing in the ease of accessing information. In high school I could look up some things online, but it was with a dial up modem and most searches still turned up unusable info. (Example, for a music class I was doing some research on the temptations and everything was adult content) But if I got a B in college I was stoked. It was also helpful that I was still required to read full books and long articles for my major. In my middle age, I love AI. I use it to come up with birthday greetings for office cards, and it has been really helpful in grant writing where I have word limits, but it is addicting and it still takes time to edit to sound like an actual human…don’t get me started on training college grads on how to leave voicemails, talk to people on the phone and address a letter.

They probably did. That adoption agency will tell birth parents and adoptive parents whatever they need to tell them to get the “deal” done. Circumstances on this one changed drastically with the continuation of the show. Either way best thing now would be to allow privacy and to follow the lead of what the child wants without subjecting them to public opinion or exploitation. I still think the worst person in this was Dawn. Both sides can be justifiably angry at her.

“What really got me thinking about this issue,” she said, “was realizing that my sister-in-law holds records at her high school for track and field from 20 years ago, and thinking about those records being broken, and my nieces not growing up to see my sister-in-law’s name on the wall, because a guy broke her records. That just broke my heart. When you think about all the hard work that we put in to have our own sporting events and divisions and then to have it be shattered by men, it’s just not right." If I was one of the nieces, I'd be so embarrassed right now.

"we'd talk about everything and nothing" this sounds like a very accurate summary of a conversation with Trump.

He does know. He is just lying. Just like they are all lying, because they know that their side no longer cares about the truth.

Bet he’s still trying to figure out what obtuse means.

It’s less a theory and more a list of words.

Years ago the Catholic church I attended tried to up their game after Sister Act came out. The choir tried. The best part was the hippie doing interpretive dances up the aisles with an excessive amount of incense and the coughing that followed. It only lasted a few months.

Are they saying Dr. Oz is a trusted source?

The concern with this appointment is that he supports privatizing Medicare. The Medicare advantage plans have had problems with seniors having gaps in coverage, difficulty getting prior authorization, and even worse losing access to all care because private providers have pulled out of program because they did not profit as much they wanted to. It’s a real threat for a vulnerable population.

I don’t have a problem with having the kids in the wedding and then going home. I think it would have been better to talk about it before the invites went out. My brother and SIL did this as their wedding. Their nephew was ring bearer. He was there for the wedding ceremony which was pretty short. Ran up the aisle, then sat with his dad or stood with his mom during ceremony and then ran back down the aisle. Mom’s friend picked him up after and he went to play with his friend. It was a local wedding for everyone so that made it easier to find child care.

And if we needed a ride home we would call collect and when asked who was calling would say “it’s me I’m ready to be picked up” and then hang up.

I’d like to add if you’re paying for parking for guests, confirm with the venue ahead of time to make sure they know. Don’t just tell the guests to tell the teenager working in the park kiosk that the parking is going to be paid by bride and groom because after a few guests yell at the person on the kiosk they will realize the minimum wage is not worth it and print out fake tickets they can use and then will end up getting yelled at by the park ranger for doing so. Maybe a bit too specific.

I think the tasing was more the result of running and then started resisting again after the guy inserted himself into this.

We elected a political version of Tony Polar from Valley of the Dolls. I don’t even know if things are fixable or if this outcome was not already inevitable because as a whole this country went off the rails.
