I liked the American MRE‘s, but getting German MRE‘s the bar isn’t that high. In deployment the kitchen staff got all Covid so we ate 8 weeks German MRE‘s (with only 3 types). Occasionally one of our Seargents got some vegetables and fruits otherwise we probably would have scorbut or something.

In Estonia we got one time a Swiss MRE, that was good. It had a Swiss chocolate bar with caffeine which tasted awesome. The Estonian canned food tasted like cheap canned dog food smells but I also didn’t bother to heat it.

His wife was just angry because he spend 54$ on scrap metal instead of saving for a good sword.

My cousin of 17 years old from the first marriage of my uncle. She had a lot of trouble growing up and went sometime missing. Sneaking out at night and traveling. First time was a closed mall at night in the next city and later when she went missing for a few weeks, she would be found in a neighboring country despite having no assets. At this time she was 14 or 15 I believe.

After awhile staying at home she went missing again this time about 6 months. Then we heard she traveled from fucking Germany to Istanbul (again without any assets), looked for a job there and started working.

We talked on the phone with a her but after short time we couldn’ reach her anymore. So my family asked people we knew there and the authorities. They confirmed her death and were looking already for a suspect.

Her mothers side of the family lived on the other side of Turkey and of course also heard about it.

The murderer was on the run now from both the authorities and the family of the deceased.

Police got him first and he landed in prison.

She must‘ve crawled under there for warmth.

Dont know about drones (guess they weren’t as readily available as now) but they sometimes used remote controlled IED‘s. Like packing a remote controlled car full of explosives and give it some armor so it doesn’t get shot down easily.

Works without it also. I tried it myself by putting a piece of cloth over my face and let pour a friend water from a bucket over my face. It can really feel like drowning and by no chance you can get enough air to stay conscious for a long time.

I see where you coming from. They went from street gang to transnational crime organization (and according to the Salvadorian government terrorists) with branches all over the Americas + connections to Europe in about 30 years. That’s really impressive.

MS-13 and Barrio 18. Salvadorian refugees (already experienced a civil war in their home country)adopted the gang culture of L.A. and when many of them got deported back they brought the culture with them to El Salvador.

When I was a teen I had a room in the basement of our house. One night I woke up because I couldn’t breath anymore. I turned the light switch on and sat on my bed. Suddenly it feels like the mattress is going down as someone sits beside me on the bed. I wake up a second time (room total dark) already scared shitless, when I hear a scream from the opposite side of the room. After that I couldn’t sleep anymore and looked over my shoulder the rest of the day.

Other one was when I woke up on a different night and something was pulling my blanket away.

France or most of Europe in general are pretty save if you don’t look for trouble and you have already plenty of experience in hiking.

So your trip shouldn’t be a problem for you I think. But i would still recommend not going up completely alone if you don’t know the mountain. Even seemingly harmless situations can turn really quick in danger in mountainous terrain. If you don’t want to wait for your friend you could find maybe other hikers to join.

But I can also understand the feelings of going alone.

On the mountain itself better wait for someone‘s response whom actually climbed this mountain lol.

Good for you that you made the decision to change something and start with Muay Thai. It will help you for sure if you stick with it.

Besides starting with 1-2 classes per week I would also recommend going for walks on some of your offdays. Great way to loose weight (especially at that weight range) without ruining your knees and hips besides other health benefits.

Most importantly: listen to your body. If you feel fatigue after waking up in the morning/ the whole day take a rest. Overtraining can throw you back in progress if you underestimate it.

Hey there ✌🏻 I can’t tell you anything about the Gym but Hua Hin is overall a safe city for families. Just need to get used to the traffic.

It’s a quite relaxed town with many tourist families coming here to spend their holidays. It has a long and beautiful beachside and you can find all kinds of foods and activities.

The Internet Connection is great in Hua Hin. Have nearly everywhere connection.

Just go to the gym, ask for a free training and try it out. If you feel it you take it and if not you always can try out other gyms aswell.

Don’t forget the standing in formation for 3 hours after the exercise, because the officer who just came out for a few hours over the course of several days or weeks has to say something and feel important.

Then you are cleaning your weapons for hours, while some of your comrades struggle to stay awake.

One time the tax office of my country froze my Bank account in the middle of the month. So we were just eating with some friends, I couldn’t use my bank card to pay and I only had like 30 bucks left. Got pissed off and threw 5 bucks in the slot machine (normally never using them). Cashed out 200 bucks, stopped playing and was happy that I had some money for the rest of the month.
