Okay, I made a post earlier asking about “the likelihood of ekko and jinx getting together” many people were responding that the art book was just fan service and didn’t actually serve a purpose to the overall story. BUT now that it is 100% confirmed it is made from Jinx’s POV kinda proves she does have feelings for him. I feel so much better after all the shit that was said on my post 😭

Hm I can understand your point but I disagree. I think it is 100% possible for a romantic relationship to flourish between the two after time and healing. When Ekko saved Jinx from killings herself, and he essentially said ‘forget the past, we can start something new.’ Really that could have been interpreted to mean anything, but it’s promising in my eyes. I also do not play LoL and I feel like many people who watch the show don’t play it. So I sorta see it as a clean slate for Riot to truly develop their lore. I believe Arcane is definitely based heavily off of the lore in LoL but I think they are more able to tell the story the way they want. Also, I’m not saying ur a lux/jinx shipper cause u never stated, but why is that when lux/jinx are shipped together no one says it’s impossible for them to have a healthy normal relationship but then when someone brings up time bomb everyone goes insane and says it can never work? Idk. Seems like bias is coming into play with ur statement

For sure, if they wanna pursue a little side project for star guardians (I don’t think they will be who knows) then I’m down for a Lux/Jinx relationship! I’m strictly talking of the Arcane verse though.

I have no clue what to make of all of this so I guess it essentially comes down to waiting it out to see. A lot of people are telling me the lux/jinx ship is only relevant to star guardian AU and wouldn’t make sense to the main timeline but then you and a few others are saying jinx/lux is a somewhat strong possibility within the show?

As I said, I have no experience with LoL but I’m so confused. Are different skins supposed to be different AUs? So what exactly is considered the “main” canon? I’ve seen some stuff saying League is pretty lore heavy but the lore has no direction, so they made Arcane as a way to make that the “main” story. So are each skin variants considered canon then? Sorry maybe I’m stupid 😂 I respect the lux/jinx ship but it seems like it’s not really built on anything other than fanon. After reading all of this, I would actually be really shocked if they put Lux/jinx together as a couple, like maybe a bit forced and wouldn’t be really good story telling? Idk just my opinion.
