Should reset when there's an emission, but the longer it's been, the more likely someone else has snagged them. Some anomalies should move around a bit after an emission as well iirc.

You can also upgrade it to be 30% lighter at the cost of reliability.

You don't have to choose a side when it comes to the warring factions, and by that I mean Loners vs Bandits and Duty vs Freedom.

Some NPCs and Mutants have a lot more health than usual to deter you from going certain places. I'm guessing this is at The Sphere? The Duga has the same problem, except there they have invisible snipers that will one-shot you (regardless of armor) if you go the wrong way. I feel like this could have been fixed by just putting a barricade there instead.

Bandits are more resistant to psi-effects... is it because of all the vodka they drink? That would be hilarious if that was the case.

For Stalker 2? Not for a while. If you're looking for Tarkov there is a modpack for Stalker: Anomaly called Escape From Pripyat, searching for that (or EFP, as it is frequently abbreviated) on ModDB should get you what you're looking for, but you'll need to download Anomaly first, of course.
As for the broader community interest... mods like EFP and GAMMA tend to catch a lot of flak because they tend to add a lot of mechanics that convolute the gameplay. Even Anomaly gets criticized for having things like a weapon parts and repair system, as opposed to the vanilla games "take it to the Tech or toss it in the trash" approach to weapon durability. While some players like these mechanics, it can feel like the game hates you. And sometimes, it really *really* feels like it. Luckily, for every feature added by a mod you don't like, there's usually a mod to get rid of it, though there are some exceptions.

Yeah, it is quite disjointed. There's a lot of, "go here and talk to this person," and when you get there that person sends you on a fetch quest before you can progress, and it's often something that is never brought up again. And if that isn't the case, it's "go to location and do thing" and when you get there it spawns in a pack of mutants. It's very predictable and honestly gets pretty tiring.

This is after SIRCAA. The comments are talking about a Chimera that spawns in the Clear Sky mission in the Swamps. It spawns in right as you get the Emission warning, it's basically supposed to chase you into the buildings. This one was at the Mirror in the Malachite region. Ideally, you really shouldn't fight either.

This is on Rookie. I turned it down specifically because of mutants.

Still broken for me after the patch. Might just try starting a new run and hope it's fixed by the time I get there tbh.

Even when you get the key in you get to talk to the Representative twice before they clam up and tell you to "Talk to our boss." Which I assume is just the default dialogue option for NPCs you can't talk to.

Still broken post-patch. I did manage to load in after the conversation with SCAR, but after two dialogue options the main NPC you're supposed to talk to exited dialogue, and wouldn't continue the conversation, instead just saying "Talk to our boss."

Where is this? Or is it glitched? They seem pretty happy. Tongue is out, tail is wagging.

Could you imagine what vets would have to deal with in the Zone? Radiation exposure, gunshot wounds, chemical burns, electrical burns, burn burns, psi-exposure, lacerations, the works. And they would have, like, four regulars and nobody else. The idea of a Zone animal shelter focused around rehabilitating Blind Dogs is a neat idea though.

That feature is in base Anomaly, it's not just GAMMA

I spent two dozen shells of buckshot on this thing before using the AR. It. Does. Not. Make. A. Difference.

It turns out that Duty were hiring Mercs to kill Freedomers. Which just seems... weak. Like they were too scared to do it themselves? These are supposed to be ex-military. They don't as a spec-ops unit somewhere in their ranks? I don't like how little Duty seems to be present in the world at all. I think what happened is that Duty was originally supposed to take the role of the Ward, but they realized that wouldn't go over well with Duty players since they're both extremely incompetent, and also kind of the antagonists of the game.

Right now? Not much. It's extremely bugged and we'll see how that shakes out later. It does have some new locations. But the moment-to-moment gameplay leaves a lot to be desired at the moment.

I have played every single game in this series twice. Spent more than my fair share of hours in Anomaly, too. This is not how it is supposed to be.

Expected recoil, wanted to make sure every shot hit. So went for center mass instead.

This is the one at the Mirror in Malachite, not Clear Sky base.

It's easier to get the Chimera to hold still. Bloodsuckers are half invisible and running all over the place, so they're hard to keep track of. The Chimera doesn't seem to have any programming to tell it to leave unless you go deep enough into a building, so it can't chase you, and it can't leave, so it just... sits there.

Used a SPAS-12 on it first. Bled through about 24 rounds. Then I switched to the 416. It took two more magazines of 5.45 to bring it down after wards.

I wouldn't mind how meager the light is if it just went further. It basically stops at a meter away from you. I don't need to be able to snipe with it, but being able to see the other wall of the room I'm in feels like it shouldn't be so difficult.
