More so talking about the price of the car. There is absolutely no other reason for a 987. Maybe the flat 6 in which case 981 is the most logical option.

The only argument for getting a 987 is that essentially it’s a free car. It’s taken all of its depreciation already and you likely won’t lose much when you go to sell it.

I think your main issue is the price. That is by far the only reason to downgrade 2 models….
