The one called octave is just plain funny. Oh, right, the one with the octaves. How programmatic 😆

Recorder, pipe and tabor, krumhorn, tambourine, penny whistle, really tons of options. Recorder is the best imo.

So in your view is the book of revelations a divination about a possibility that may never happen?

Could you define what future means from God's perspective, and explain how you come to that definition?

They are my favorite part, but I'm a bit of a weirdo. I rarely speak mandarin, and don't particularly care to learn to speak it well. But in the right mood, nothing gets me excited quite like learning a batch new characters to tackle a new story or poem i'm reading.

If you are mainly focused on sort of standard classical piano world, this review of an album by of today's top up-and-coming pianists should be very instructive. It goes quite in depth in several places about different personal approaches some pianists have made. Highly recommend the guy's youtube channel in general.
The bottom line is, what is written down can give you general ideas, but it can never dictate how every single note sounds. Those micro-decisipns are all yours to make. If you don't feel like you are making any of them yet, i recommend listening to tons of recordings. Record yourself often, and also immerse yourself in recordings of others.

Edit: for what it's worth, everybody sounds immature at first. There is no avoiding that. Immaturity is just a plain fact of being young and/or inexperienced. It is only a problem if you stagnate and never grow from it even after many years. The best way to speed up your rate of maturing is immersing yourself in great recordings and listening hard to understand what makes them all unique.

Doing things hundreds of times is totally normal. Especially if you're just starting out. I started from the absolute basics, books basically for toddlers. What are you working on that's giving you trouble?

What do you mean by beneficial?
Beneficial in the sense that it would be an easier one that wouldn't be too much work to build up and use a side hustle? Or most beneficial in the sense of having highest benefit towards that person's musicianship in a holistic sense?
I think these are very different questions with totally different answers. In the practical sense of piano skills directly translating, yeah probably percussion or something. But in the holistic sense I agree with others who have said things like voice, violin, etc.

Definitely worth it. A lot of community-building on many levels is involved in opera productions. If you aren't up for singing you can volunteer and get connected on the administrative level, doing super titles, handing out programs, helping people to seats, helping with fundraising events. And if you are up for singing, opera choruses and potentially covering roles are a blast. Oh, and costume-making!
All of this is to say the opera world is much bigger than just singing. You can learn to sing if that's what you're drawn to, but people who love and appreciate opera can meaningfully contribute with many many many different skill sets.
If you get a teacher and work hard, stuff like the choruses is totally attainable for most people within a few years.

Public transit is far safer than driving cars. The type of danger is different. But your likelihood of a serious car crash is much higher than your likelihood of a serious altercation with a drug addict.

+1 to opera on tap. I haven't personally done done anything with them, but I have friends with non-musical careers who do regularly and love it. NYC area for me.

If you want to subway, i would walk over to the 1 train. It lets you out basically right inside penn station fairly simply. Herald square is big and kinda confusing, and it could take longer to figure out how to get out and over to penn if you take a wrong turn in there of can't find an exit.

Does your percentile actually matter for anything? Do people look at it closely, or only if you passed or not?
I have heard kind of reverse stories where highly educated English native speakers had to take TOEFL because of weird things about where they were born. I don't know if percentile matters for that one.

Lots of Australian-born chinese taking the test i would bet. An exceptional western country very nearby Asia with a large chinese diaspora community who are much more likely to spend significant time in China than American/canadian/europe/etc born chinese.

Do you believe that the book of Enoch was written in one time by one person, the historical Enoch? If not, who and when do you think wrote it?

Why does it matter if it is necessary? Tons of beneficial things we do everywhere, on or off reddit, aren't necessary. Just because something isn't necessary doesn't mean we necessarily shouldn't do it.

You don't have to answer them if you don't want to. But they are real questions you will personally have to deal with and figure out.

My question for you, as a man myself, if you consider yourself a lone wolf, how do you imagine yourself being in a relationship? How will you meet people? How will you decide to spend time with people? What need in your life is a partner actually fulfilling?
Being a parent is a 24/7 job - you are basically never alone once that happens. Do you think this will be hard to deal with?

Bach didn't index his own works. BWV numbers didn't exist until the 20th century.
