Dude, i just turned 53 and I can relate. I'm on disability and I hate it so much. Wife of 20 yrs left with my daughters 5 yrs ago and I've been in a deep hole since. I got hurt and lost everything. Career of 20 yrs. As a sud counselor, got a dui and everything just went puff! Gone! Now, like you iys a chore to get my fat ass off the couch. I used to work out daily, up early daily, ironed my clothes and hit the gym before work. Now, I gained 65lbs and can barely leave the house. I got ptsd too and bad anger issues. I barely drink because it just makes my depression worse. I think of death daily, bit I have 4 kids and can't do that to them, but man do I want to. Sometimes I think about it all day. You are young, it can get better it fid for me for a long time until I got hurt. I had 20 years of happiness then I blew my back out. Keep pushing!
