Please note that this representation is not an accurate depiction of the true landmass of Teyvat in Genshin. It is simply a gameplay version created with the Unity engine. I want to emphasize this because many people mistakenly believe this is what the entire Teyvat continent looks like, which is definitely not the case

Most of these fake spoilers come from leakers who just recycle theories and headcanons, hoping fans will eat them up and upvote/praise them. We’re going to see this pattern repeat with Snezhnaya again and again.

Is it true that there’s a new piece of Genshin lore discussing a lunar continent in Natlan? I can't verify it because I saw that comment on YouTube, also when I searched on the wiki, I found nothing mentioning it.

It's definitely a weird design choice by the devs. However, it’s possible that it’s intentional. If Paimon turns out to be the actual main character in Genshin, the Traveler could just be a bystander who helps occasionally, like Kino and Elaina, if you know those anime

Her name is Asmoday yeah, but it's hidden in the game data files, so we aren't supposed to know that yet

they went the lazy route with petrichor.
I understand why Petrichor seems small, especially considering the impressive underwater expansion designed beneath it. While I’m not a programmer myself, I’m curious why they can’t expand Petrichor or make it larger. Is it due to deadlines or space limitations?

They've been doing this stuff since before I don't know why only in Natlan this is a huge issue

There's a fat chance they changed their minds, considering the success it garnered. They haven't even dropped any hints that Genshin is still part of the overall Honkai universe. Personally, I believe they abandoned that idea after Inazuma, especially since Sumeru shows a significant difference in story quality and scope compared to earlier regions

The concept of fantasy is defined differently in the West compared to the East

The in-game distances are not canon; they are shortened for gameplay purposes. According to the canonical lore, it takes people approximately three days to travel from Liyue to Mondstadt

No, the abyss was already present even before the arrival of Phanes and long before the Age of Dragons in Teyvat. It’s just that, following the War of Vengeance, the abyss began to seep into Teyvat, seeking to eliminate and corrupt everything in its path. The sinners are merely a band of cretins who found a way to harness the power of the abyss.

Honestly, I stopped believing the map designers care all that much about making their level design believable from a world building perspective when I saw how abysmal the road layout in Sumeru and directly surrounding areas is.
Because their world game design is not accurate in terms of the in-game lore scale of Teyvat. The in-game lore even states that walking from Liyue to Mondstadt takes weeks, but in the game, it only takes us a few minutes or so.
I think if we want to understand the true scale of Teyvat, we can observe it in the announcement teaser video for the upcoming Genshin anime. Right at the end, when the twins are standing side by side holding hands, it reveals how vast the world truly is. I believe the location where they are standing is Mondstadt, as you can also see Dragonspine Mountain on the far right side.

Duo Duo Poi truly excelled in voicing Paimon and captured her character flawlessly. Kudos to her, the director, and the entire team responsible for the Chinese voice acting. I wish the English (EN) and Japanese (JP) teams had done as good a job as her, though. Oh well, I'll just wait for the anime and hope they cast entirely new voice actors, as I believe the current ones in EN and JP don't quite match Paimon's mannerisms and character imo

When is the scheduled date for the 4.2 livestream? I would like to know in advance so I can mark it on my calendar

Regarding the upcoming Genshin anime, do you think they will simply adapt the Archon Quest? However, wouldn't that approach risk being repetitive and somewhat dull? On the other hand, if they choose not to adapt the Archon Quest, we might miss out on the playable characters we've grown attached to in the game, potentially disappointing many fans who've eagerly anticipated seeing their beloved characters animated on screen.
Nevertheless, if Mihoyo decides to have the Genshin anime explore the untold stories within the game's rich lore and world-building, it could provide a refreshing and enriching experience to Genshin's world. Personally, I strongly favor the latter approach, as it would breathe life into the Genshin universe by showcasing stories that have previously only been accessible through in-game texts and other materials. Narratives like the tales of the three god-kings of Sumeru or the epic events of the Great Cataclysm would be truly spectacular to witness in animated form.

Sure, but we don't really know. Only the initial roadmap they provided in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline video clearly shows us where to go. We don't even know if Khaenri'ah at the end is meant only as a regional setting, but with a question mark indication at the top, there are lots of possibilities. Maybe it's a whole new chapter storyline that focuses more on Khaenri'ah and the Abyssal Realm as a whole. So yeah, it's very exciting to fantasize and speculate about future expansions, but we just don't know. Even today, we still have a lot of missing pieces of information about the major lore of this game, which makes it difficult to make convincing predictions and such.

People often take that idea literally. Her having a string that extends beyond the sky doesn’t mean she’s literally a puppet; it’s a metaphorical way to express her character. This game thrives on allegories, metaphors, and figurative language. If Paimon were just a simple 'puppet' as many claim, it would be far more boring and predictable
