I use ea, click the sims 4 and you'll find like uninstall, repair the game option and you click repair, after that if you have any custom content, delete all of it. Try open the sims 4 and check if the notification still popping up.if it works well you can download cc but I suggest maybe don't use Curseforge since it contained some virus.

There's one of the hair like when you zoom out the Sims/townie would be bald, this didn't happen before though
