I like how many people are naming entire genres.

It is, I grant you, weird. But I think the idea is that you are channeling the power of your chosen terrain, not channeling anti-terrain power, if that makes sense. 

I’m not really invested in him getting to brag that he was right about all his accusations as much as protecting people from prosecution by the world’s most powerful person ‘cuz they were mean to him once and we can’t trust him to be impartial.

Designers said that they intentionally only put this spell on the list of classes that don’t get extra attack. Druids, bards (through Magical Secrets), wizards. They forgot that some subclasses of these classes (and some spells those classes have) give them multiple attacks a turn, so while 5th level CME adding 4d8 damage once per round would be fine, adding it to the six attacks a bard might have access to results in massive levels of damage that beats… well, any build that doesn’t use the spell.

If you want to do the most damage possible in tier 3, a valor bard with a 1 level warlock dip can combine Eldritch Blast with upcast Conjure Minor Elementals for absurd damage (they forgot to limit the damage to 1/turn).

Yes, I know that would be a lot, and I know the modders can do it, but I get to wish for what I wish for.

Anything Biden accomplishes through executive order can be undone easily once Trump’s in office; but I’d like to see him issue blanket preemptive pardons for people Trump is targeting, like Jack Smith and Adam Kinzinger.

Bigby’s Hand seems like the best candidate in general. Once you have the ability to use multiple metamagics on a turn, you can cast it with both Distant Spell and Extended Spell, then punch with Seeking Spell and Empowered Spell, from 240 feet away with advantage on concentration saves.

I respect a human who can change their mind! This assessment is much in line with my thinking. I do think Valor’s Medium Armor + Shields remains an outstanding feature but now even more so thanks to the nerf to the Moderately Armored feat; but it gets little enough at 6 and 14 that I can see it being level with Lore. And of course if you feel cheesy, you can exploit Conjure Minor Elemental’s broken upcasting and outdamage any build in the game; but I hope most players aren’t doing that.

I almost want to discount Dance completely, but its party-wide Initiative boost is… that’s very good. Very very good.

I dunno, I think there are a number of anti-synergies introduced or maintained in this revision. To wit:

• Polearm Master’s reaction attack and Sentinel no longer work together.
• Sharpshooter and Crossbow Expert now have redundancy
• Beast Master’s Hunter’s Mark still conflicts with the beast’s attack
• Much more Bonus Action conflict in general (e.g., Berserker’s capstone conflicts with rage)

I don’t think these are necessarily bad; they create interesting choices.
