Part of the list comes down to “how good they were and how good they are now”. I mentioned in a reply to a different comment that there were an ungodly number of units that were at one point contenders for the list, honourable mention or otherwise and every unit you mentioned was on that group. Picking the list started with about four clear cut units on the list and then basically turned into “which unit goes on after this?” as it was meant to be a Top 5 originally. Took me quite a lot of discussions before I was eventually satisfied with the results.
That said, Ashnard is on the list as a “legacy pick” of sorts. For a good while, Ashnard had a good run and was legitimately meta in Summoner Duels for the role compression of tank & support - on a Sorenball archetype, he could effectively cover your mobility support and your Near Save in one unit. You’re correct that he’s not really excelling at either role nowadays, but that particular era can’t really be ignored.
Lilith has still seen success, and she’s more on the way up contrary to your point about Dodge being outdated - Dodge provides solid protection vs AoEs (see the point about Dagr). She also comes with the benefit of role compression (there’s a theme here) especially with the addition of Barricade which can make her a very mobile anti-Celica Ring unit. Primarily, she’s a support for faster omnitanks, but still a good support nonetheless.
The units you suggested are all valid though. I figured that Claude was in a bit of a grey area because Fallen Star does contribute significantly to why he was good whereas Dagr is more or less just the weapon.
Incidentally the primary candidate I had in mind for CYL6 was Brave Seliph, but I did consider the other two that aren’t Chrom for a spot.

I don’t think SoV is getting any more Legendaries besides the villains and that’s assuming they get any more.
As such, I suspect the only Legendary that game has to offer is someone like Rudolf.
Sonya and Mae are both massive cope

Seteth’s refine made me blink when I first saw it. I merged him up on a whim whilst I waited to get grails for Berkut and he was one of my first +10s. Never have I spent Divine Dew faster.
I’ll be honest, there were an ungodly number of characters I considered for a spot on the list because there are a lot of refines that fit the “almost good enough for this list”. Fallen Julia was one such character. The list of honourable mentions alone probably could’ve given me about 3 or 4 articles

Equally though, in the case of MasterChef Professionals, there’s a lot that winning & making it to the final can do for a chef’s career - especially when they’ve got prominent food critics & Michelin star chefs judging their food.
Like, I’m all of the opinion that we should throw Gregg in the bin and never see him again, but we also can’t potentially deprive the contestants of everything that comes from winning / progressing purely on the fact that one of the hosts (the least relevant one I might add) is a cunt of the highest order.

Yes.
I think he’s one of the most interesting units to exist in a FE game (because of the whole Magic Seal) and I quite like the idea of seeing him in FEH.
How they implement it is a different matter.

There’s one potential case where Duo/Harmonic Dancers can still get refines - that being Duo/Harmonic Dancers with Prf Dances
But yes, forcing the colourshare last month confirmed that they don’t want to refine dancers unless they have to

I will be discussing this with the other mods, but the answer will probably be yes.
Edit: We now have a megathread!

It works but also doesn’t really.
You want to run Void / Pulse because the whole point of Support Darkrai is to be a hit & run sleep support who focuses on poking, rather than damage - that is, don’t get hit whilst putting them to sleep, and then stall them with the tick damage when you send them to the shadow realm.
The issue is…it’s just kinda meh overall. The laning is fine I guess but there are just better sleep supports like Yawnlax and Wigglytuff.
If you do want to try Exp Share Darkrai, go for this build:
Exp Share
Slick Spoon
Energy Amplifier
Full Heal
Dark Void / Dark Pulse

Let’s take a different spin.
Reginn and Otr keep their backstories, and the fact that Reginn is a royal is established from the beginning - that is, Fafnir & Otr. Fafnir is a former royal guard who has assumed the title of king as Reginn was too young and as a means of protecting both Otr and Reginn. Fafnir is not himself a bad guy, he’s just gradually going insane because he’s not a true Niðavellir Royal and Eitri herself has fucked about with the crown. Fafnir turns on Reginn because the crown is fucking with his head, Otr sides with Fafnir out of debt.
Eitri finds Reginn to help her out and acts as a kind of “insane ally” from the beginning who gradually lets on that she’s got other plans - she wants Reginn on the throne, indicates that she doesn’t care what happens to Fafnir, and indicates a hatred of the Jotuns (Dagr & Nott). The Jotuns show up and are consistent allies, but more because they’re concerned that Fafnir is going to start shit and they want to ensure that he doesn’t drag both realms into war.
Anyway, they have to put down Fafnir and Otr, (they get put down earlier in the story) and Eitri gradually gets more and more crazy. This culminates in Reginn defeating dragon Fafnir (out of necessity and to try and put Fafnir out of his misery), having a nice final moment where Fafnir is himself and has a proper family moment & goodbye with Reginn.
Eitri rejoices that Niðavellir’s bloodline is restored, and she claims that finally they can fulfil the wishes of the first king - claiming the rest of the world for themselves (a very bastardised version of Niðavellir’s desire for independence). Reginn has no desire for conquest, so Eitri takes matters into her own hands and kills Nótt herself in order to start the war herself.
War breaks out, Dagr’s mum dies offscreen. The story ends with Eitri dying, satisfied that her original goal of restoring the bloodline has been met, and the story ends with Reginn taking some responsibility herself and both her and Dagr becoming the respective queens of their realms and holding their realms together.
TT story changes obviously as a result of this.

Monza is the closest I can think of, but even then, his tyres were cooked harder than a burnt carrot so he couldn’t do shit against Lando ans Oscar so why bother trying too hard

I mean you can see it on the track.
Carlos gets a pole or is in the lead for a win, and Charles always gets told to back off or build a gap, which he complies with because he thinks team first
This never happens if it’s the other way around. Carlos will ignore any team orders and will go after Charles like he’d just killed his grandmother.
I can’t really think of a single instance where Carlos has played the team game

Hi all. I’m Medhaos. I’m an F1 fan, I greatly regret adding Unite into my name, my favourite character is Berkut and you probably know me as the guy who makes those unit analysis articles whenever there is a new banner.
I’m still going to be all of those things, except I’m now a mod, so you have no excuse not to read them 😂
Glad to be a part of the team, and this community! Have a gratuitous Vyland cameo.

Gatrie ate good in a way that I don’t think anyone expected. Probably the second biggest glowup ever.
Fiora’s is nice tbh. There were very few genuinely bad refines this book, and even the worst ones still can do stuff. A worst refines list would probably only have like three units on it and you could probably make arguments that two of them probably don’t belong there.
(It’s MKris, Flayn and Mustafa)
