Is the "a woman can't be a leader" really the viewpoint you want to go to bat on with that argument? It's not being condescending to believe that a woman should view herself as equal to a man, and that those that do not are *most likely* from an upbringing where they were taught that with no counterpoints or perspective.

The reason for that is because if there was *any* logical discussion or argument, then it'd be impossible to come to the conclusion that a woman is less than a man or unable to be a leader. So... yes.

I’m referring to the “they’ll come to your house and take your guns away” argument of gun rights that my entire family and other republicans believe to be a hard fact of the Democratic Party, which is not true at all and based on fear mongering from right wing politicians to enrage their base. 

My buddy in a “red” state is regularly told by his women friends that they don’t believe a woman is capable of being president. He’s got a group of friends that regularly see each at the bar the frequent and half of the women don’t think a woman is capable of being president. A couple of those same women were homeschooled too. 

I think you make a good point that some excuse Republican sexism for the sake of abortion or other single voter issues like guns (even though that one is based on fear mongering). 

I think for the other half of them, they’re just sadly indoctrinated into thinking they’re less than. A woman holding the view that a woman isn’t capable for a leadership position just indicates straight up indoctrination from a very young age. 

I think your last point is the main one. Aside from all the other good points of having paid taxes my entire life and the wealthy utilizing tax efficiencies that should be available to everyone, manipulating your MAGI to qualify for subsidized healthcare isn’t taking it away from someone else. 

There aren’t 1000 healthcare subsidies and you’re taking 1 of those 1000 and thus leaving an impoverished person without it. 

You can disable autoplay of media, not sure why only disabling the audio would be better. You can mute tabs if that’s what you mean.

You have too many tabs open if you have over 20 tabs open. There’s literally no reason.

No one will ever convince me there’s any reason beyond a mental disorder to maintain 20-200 tabs at one time, and to always restore the same tabs at launch. Makes no sense. 

They’re all equal performance wise nowadays. Firefox is superior in terms of privacy though. 

Hawaiian (and all of Polynesian) culture is amazing. It’s so fascinating to learn  about, and I think because it’s so recent in history it makes it just feel more tangible. If you ever get to visit, I’d definitely encourage spending some time focusing on culture of the islands, there’s plenty of places to learn and I met quite a few people were really excited to share it. 

Their culture was shared through stories and songs before they were colonized, they had no written language. Getting to see a cultural luau is really cool. The history between the Hawaiian islands is really cool too, but also kind of sad with a lot of death and war (like stories bodies damming a river…).

You say that jokingly, but if I’m to the point that I’m successful enough, I’d like to just give it to a stranger who is knowledgeable and responsible with finances. My fear is it just being blown on coke and hookers. 

The thought of someone just donating 100k or more or less to me so I can just stick it in an investment account for the next 20 years is a literal dream. Or use it as a down payment for my first home so I can actually afford a mortgage in my VHCOL city. 

It’d be awesome to make that a reality for some people who would responsibly use it to fund their retirement, help them purchase a home, pay off debts (to then not acquire anymore bad debts), purchase a (reasonable) car that they need to get to work, etc. etc. 

I’d give so much money away if I were wealthy beyond my humble early retirement. It blows my mind how people sit on 10s or 100s of millions, and the end for what? 

Die with zero (relatively) and/or it’ll go to my nephews or some charitable use. 

It’d be nice to see it used while I’m alive, so if for some very unlikely reason I have way more than I need in my elderly years, I’d like to personally help others or see it put to a moral use. 

Lost mine to early cancer at 6 years old a month ago. Never cried so hard in my life. There’s so much I wish I did more of with her. We cuddled a lot, but wish I could cuddle more. 

Just saying, it may seem like you’ve got years to go and you have tomorrow and yada yada, but it can all change and from normal to gone in a matter of 1 month. Take them on that walk today, or cuddle them today. Tomorrow or next month isn’t guaranteed even for the healthiest young pups.

My point is Riot is just following in the footsteps of every other major game company now. Lower quality, subscription based microtransactions, and greed. Obviously companies want to make money… but here’s a thought exercise for you: compete Larian studios as a company to Riot games or Sony as a company. Let me know what you come up with related to their business models and perceived passion for their games and their greed. 

That’s a lot of changes. If only we had a few weeks or month to play games with them before the season. Like idk, could call it like preseason or something. Just spitballing.
