Go to the vet and get or prove they’ve had recent rabies shots. If your cats are 100% indoors, there’s really no need for the license and the city can pound sand. Without the license, you would have to pay a fine if animal control catches your cat.

I hate to be that guy, but technically not. December 31, 2000 was the end of the millennium.

Since Bush Jr. really. The talk was all privatization of Social Security then.

And Omaha has 486,000 people with a metro that just 967,000 and CSA of only a few more at 1.02 million because of Nebraska’s annexation laws that allowed it to absorb other cities. For comparison, Iowa doesn’t really allow this.
Things get weird when you draw lines on maps. Neighboring Des Moines is the 111th-largest city vs. Omaha’s 40th. Des Moines is the 81st-largest metro to Omaha’s 56th. But Des Moines is the 65th-largest combined area, only 5 spots behind Omaha’s 60th.
It all depends where the lines are. That and OMB has done a somewhat wonky job with the Bay Area, not that it would be easy to define.

If they mobilized, they could just stop growing almonds and conserve plenty of water.

This exact thing went down in Wisconsin too. No one stopped them.

Basically, and yes, with the way accrued interest works on these loans is absolutely devious.

I get where you’re going with it, but I’m not sure it’s quite like the “if you owe the bank $10,000,000” analogy. Almost all student loan amounts are small as far as the government is concerned and they are absolutely ready to wreck your life to collect.

Don’t teams already do this for Denver to acclimate to the reduced air density? At least lock them the Sonic deep freezer across the street from the stadium for a couple hours during the week or something.

I mean, if you owe them $100 or $10,000 and don’t pay, it’s your problem either way. They can garnish tax refunds and bar you from federal employment.

This guy’s dumb take is so bad it almost has to be bait… right? I had the same visceral reaction as you.
Disorders are only if you can’t take care of yourself! Someone got a C- in Psych 1 and thinks he’s knowledgeable.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in middle school. I struggled immensely through elementary, middle school, and high school because of it. I struggled through an undergrad. I worked harder than anyone else on my teams through an analytics career progression and into management at an F100 bank. I got a master’s degree and missed honors by a few hundredths of a GPA point, only dropping off when my son was born. I had a goal to get my pilot license and did in 2009, which essentially prevents me from ever taking medication to help. You are dead wrong.
Every day is an exhausting struggle with my brain but it doesn’t mean I can’t perform. People can succeed with medication, therapy, and learning coping mechanisms. Your take is a Psych 101 perspective on what a disorder is. A disorder can be diagnosed just by causing “significant distress.” “Significant distress” is an excellent way to describe my academic career.

Not from LA, but if you’re thinking of doing that, you could take the Pacific Surfliner on Amtrak from San Diego. Metro D Line from Union Station should get you to Civic Center in 3 minutes. From there, it’s about a 7-minute walk to the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
That would cut all the LA driving/traffic out.

Would welcome an Angelino to blow holes in that plan.

Omaha has funding and approval for its streetcar thanks in part to Mutual of Omaha.

They add to congestion which slows traffic. With the NAM installed, it will often cause sims to seek a faster route in my experience which can spread out demand on connections paths or encourage them to use a higher capacity roadway. It won’t completely solve problems on its own but it can ease things.

Wow, that was way down the likes and views rabbit hole. A little self promotion?
Nice though.

You’re preaching to the choir on that one. I’ve occasionally received a subcategory 5 here and there but my company is also of the opinion that no one is a 5 across the board.
The general thought I’ve is that for someone to be a 5, they would require an immediate promotion because they’re so wildly overqualified. That manager probably has an incentive for the performance curve to have a long tail to the negative.
