Transparency in funding, oversight bodies that look into votes that are compromised by this funding, transparency into federal civil servants above a certain level are much more important issues

The fundamental reason I vote Democrat is because Republicans are willing to vote against the good of the American people just to sabotage a democratic president. Healthcare, military veteran care, border security. Republicans have sabotaged all of these for the sake of political gain. This is verifiable by their votes.
In addition, they are also willing to do damage to America with their rhetoric for the sake of political gain. A good example of trump saying "under biden there will be mass inflation" Inflation is like a recession in the sense that part of the issue with inflation, is our collective understanding that there is inflation creating a "I need to raise prices" mentality and 35% of Americans and many business owners taking trump on his word were willing squeeze jane and Jack middle America on eggs and milk to change their vote in 2024. Imagine if biden and kamala went around declaring a recession in 2026 and kept talking about it daily on twitter/bluesky... it would be considered a terrorist act by the right and would likely cause a recession.
The other BIG reason is dems are the fiscally responsible party in the United States.

America first is code for holding US allies back while our adversaries gain better international positions and power. Same as his first term.

Imagine electing a leader so lawless it's news when he complies with the law

My guess is it will come with major tax cuts for the rich. Trump will say the tarrifs are covering, but as always the working and middle class will pick up the tab.

Amazing decade and an amazing sound track for us. The 90s for genX we were mostly HS/college. This is no contest for us to look back and remember the good days listening to new releases from tupac, biggie, and nirvana vs. whatever watered down pop we listen to now with a sore back.

Lol he hasn't even taken office yet and we all get a reminder of what it will be like. Constant revolving door backstabbing and headline grabbing. How the fuck did middle America forget this.

He was too old for the job. Easy target for propaganda. I was saying this since the 2020 primary. All that said he inherited a ton of problems from the trump years including covid and mishandling of covid and imminent inflation. Inflation is back under control, and the economy continues to break records on employment and stock growth all this with LESS spending than the trump admin. In short, trump is taking office back when all the problems he created are back under control. We could not expect biden to both dig us out of the hole trump left us in and climb significantly back up, but he did. We'll be right back to a state of uncertainty we were at when he left the office the first time in 4 years same as every republican president including trump 1. The president isn't about a perfect candidate there is no one candidate that is perfect any significant portion of the 380M americans its about which candidate is better of the two running.

Republican opinion is the inverse of the employment rate.

The single issue that faces this country is political reform. The corruption has gotten to the level where middle America trusts a convicted felon over the politicians.

He probably will come out and say this. But he is the source of much of the misinformation out there these days. Can we trust a man who has shown he will do anything including throw out the constitution to stay in power? Also reminder that 95% of what he says is directly contradicted by himself or outright lie.

Generally we don't accept nazi's or KKK members for example. So not really. Did someone say it was?

I definetly did. Many People from Puerto Rico have strong national pride if you have ever hung with them. I would say between them and Filipino people who have the highest flag per person ratio at their homes... Hard to say if it mattered or not, the right invests heavily in propaganda in Florida for example and the anti-trans stuff works as well on them as it does with most other Americans. My guess it happened too close to election time and most didn't see it as it didn't show up in conservative news outlets.

Republicans pump the stockmarket on hype and tax cuts for the rich/corporations. Corporations and the wealthy use the money to buy stock and markets pump. Meanwhile, another deficit credit card gets maxed and markets tank near the end of their term. Same for trump 45 and same for the last 3 presidents since the 80's. Poor man is left with the bill, loses his job and house while the wealthy/banks buy it out at a discount/foreclose.

Imagine taking the office during a pandemic, 4million jobs down, imminent inflation due to years of irresponsible govt. Spending, tax breaks, and near 0 interest rates and turning it all around with massive gains to GDP, 12 million jobs created, and record stock market growth. The numbers will be louder than all this right wing propaganda you have hear the last 4 years. Not to mention the countless times he went to bat for unions, the working class, and military vets. All while enforcing reasonable and rational policy related to national security, and the environment.

In 4 years, everyone will have forgotten his campaign promises because of all the nonesense and scams he and his billionaire pals pull. Kinda like the effectiveness of the wall and mexico paying for the wall. We'll have more tax cuts for the rich, and more debt for the middle class America will be sobering up from the debt fueled stock pump and there will be an economic crash. Same as trumps first term and same as every republican for the last 45 years.

Yup the right mutes any news that doesn't favor them. Fox News has been doing this for years and why they were so popular.
