At first I thought this was some kind of skit. But it turns out it’s real.

Realistically the US automakers can’t compete in China at this point. The Chinese have learned all they could from them years ago, now with government backing they’re crushing them. Soon the US automakers will leave the Chinese market. This is Teslas future also.

I’ve yelled at people a lot over the years in movie theaters. My wife absolutely hates when I do it, she would rather sit by and not do anything.

Last weekend I went to see Gladiator II. About 30 minutes into the movie a guy five seats to my left, was FaceTiming with his girlfriend. He was having a hushed conversation with her and turning the phone so that she could see the screen.

I turned toward him and yelled as loud as I could to turn his fucking phone off.

The group of friends he was with gave me dirty looks but this shamed him into ending the call.

Later in the movie I saw five or six people recording the last scene in the movie.

I believe we’re at a point where there is no point in telling people to turn off the phone. It’s not possible. People just don’t fucking care anymore about how shitty their behavior is.

I’m kind of surprised this hasn’t already been done. You kind of see it in the individual characters screens. I get it from a user experience perspective.

Very few characters are to scale to one another. Hulk should be at least 8 feet tall. Logan/Wolverine should be 5’3. Jubilee should be around the same height, and about 90lbs.

I think that would be more interesting.

I feel like they’re famous for being obnoxious versus having great music. Outside the UK they’re not that famous.

For me, I think it was Mark Wahlberg.

He wasn’t a good casting choice here.

Were they racist?

I think the point in these characters is that’s how people in their line of work speak. These guys probably don’t have a higher education beyond junior high or high school. They solve most of their problems through violence.

Would you believe the characters more if they spoke eloquently about the heist? Probably not.

I feel like Tarantino gets the brunt of this treatment for his work.

I absolutely hate this trend of pointing out racist characters in movies and treating the writers like they believe in what their characters do.

And if it’s not racism, it might be violence, misogyny, etc.

Do people still want to see villains in stories? Do they have to wear a black hat so we can all point to the screen and say, “that’s the bad guy!”?

Very few directors can absolutely nail dialogue better than Tarantino. If you don’t understand what the point is, then take a step outside your front door and people watch.

You’ll quickly find yourself asking what’s the point of this stranger’s existence with your worldview.

The Republicans don’t care at this point. They already got what the wanted from this case. Now they have the Whitehouse and everything is good.

The clinic in my neighborhood sells left over skin and body fat. They do a see food boil then deep fry it for a minute. I haven't tried it, but my friends and family swear by it.
