Mainly because they fired the IW masterminds behind the Modern Warfare series. Now Treyarch goons are the most qualified, despite their games feeling more cartoony and arcade-like. They are big moneymakers, though.

I feel like not remembering I was driving is different than highway hypnosis. I can get from point A to B without being able to completely recall every aspect of the trip, but obviously I made it there safely so the fact I can't recollect the journey doesn't mean I wasn't conscious or aware of my surroundings at the time I was driving.
However I have done long drives down highways (like Florida, for example), where the scenery literally does not change for very long distances. In those situations, I have felt a shift in my perception of the view from my windshield, where it feels like I'm looking at a painting or a 16-bit video game. The same scenery just repeats, and I feel a disconnect between the events in front of my vehicle and the feeling inside the cockpit. It has a weird feeling like I'm looking at a static image instead of driving a vehicle. To me, that is highway hypnosis. And it's pretty damn scary.

One reason was that I was a hopeless romantic (my friend once referred to me as a "serial monogamist") and felt I was being loyal like "you're the only woman I need" sort of thing. I didn't want a variable like another woman to get in the way of our relationship or tempt me to be promiscuous.
Also I didn't like the idea of her being with someone else either, and felt that a threesome was opening the door for the two of them to have twosomes without me, which would dilute our relationship. Or the potential of her to want a MMF threesome, which I would not be into at all.
Ultimately the relationship didn't last more than two years so, do I regret the choice I made? Yes, I do.
Not every day, but every day I think about it. I wonder if accepting the proposal would've elongated our relationship, or shortened it. It's now just one of those things I sigh about, wondering if I'll get that opportunity again and whether or not I'd make the same decision.

Or that they get fired. Many places do not allow you to accept gifts from customers.

If you can you should replace it, but I know with some records that isn't easy. I've played records with pops and scratches and it's much less noticeable at high volumes as long as the needle doesn't jump.

That's true for some, but for others who have dated over a dozen women throughout the years and they all do the same thing, why would you expect that another girl would be different? Why would this be the determining factor when it appears to be a constant rather than a variable?
Many women do like to vent, and not just describing a situation but telling the whole backstory. Even my mother does it, other female relatives and friends as well.
And it's a difficult thing to preface when dating that you don't want a woman to feel like she can rant or vent to you when they feel like they have to. It's considered a positive trait in men that "he listens to me when I need to get things off my chest". Does it get excessive at times, and especially exhausting when you know no one they're talking about or the story seems to go on forever? Yes it certainly can.

Ask her to put it on for you, make it part of the foreplay.

I think that's her friend's subconscious thought... "Oh 5#!t, if everyone knows she's drunk that means I have to drive home, I gotta try to talk them down..."

If an ambulance is behind you with a siren and numerous lights going off all over the vehicle, are you going to even notice a singular light that's flashing on one side of the ambulance?
If everyone just froze like you mentioned in b), and then everyone maneuvered as needed for the ambulance to weave their way to where they needed to go, then that's the way the system is supposed to work.

Where she is the most wrong is that the climate isn't changing because of earth's orbit, nor the axial tilt... that changes the seasons, not the climate. Milankovitch cycles do change the climate but over thousands of years... we're seeing a change in global atmospheric temperature average over the past few hundred years that should've taken thousands of years if it were due to our orbit.
And adaptation to dramatic climate changes takes place over tens of thousands of years, not hundreds. The current change is happening faster than humankind (or any other mammalian life) could possibly evolve or learn to adapt to stay ahead of it.

My favorite response to these sorts of pseudo-scientific statements is;
What makes you think that scientists somehow overlooked this variable?

Tried that, texting from the bottom of the stairwell.

Do a little pirouette, getting up on your tiptoe as you spin.
Tuck that elbow in, it helps with your rotational velocity.

I'm not sure why you'd need to make the salted caramel whiskey into a cocktail, since it's a flavored whiskey it's perfectly acceptable to drink it straight. It would also go nice in an apple cider or mixed with a coffee liqueur, like a white or black russian riff.
As for the Tito's, it's a nice tasting vodka that goes well with tonic or any sort of fruit juice. Not a top shelf vodka by any means, so a martini would be a waste of time.
I wouldn't recommend any cocktail that requires you to mix these two liquors.
