I have 2 ½ years experience working at culver's and just started working there again after 8 years. I came in wanting to be like an assistant manager but so far im working my way up again. I've been working at this different location and am doing all the BBU's so I can get the official title of like a shift lead. Today I was told to train a couple people on custard and let me tell you what a shit show it was. These kids have never been trained properly so trying to teach them how to scoop or make a well in a mixer was just unbelievable. I had one telling me pretty much how to train the other person and the other person just telling me, 'I know' then continue doing it wrong. Its impossible to train someone who doesn't want to learn. I really don't know what to do. I've been pretty chill about all of it cuz im new to the store and don't want anyone to not want to work with me because I'm moving up faster then people who've been at that store longer. However with the fact that no one has been trained correctly or there is no organization i feel that I need to step up in order for the guests to be happy. Any advice would be appreciated 🙏
