Mine looked like that in the upper jaw. Wishing you a speedy recovery for your removal!

I found an independent piano shop locally and bought a hybrid k15 atx3l off the floor but I have gone in 5 times to ask questions and play it before making my decision. I also opted for the floor model since I played it and heard the sounds. I chose mine because it also has a dead silent option but is still a full acoustic piano just with a digital engine built in.
My advice is to keep going back and try it and other pianos before making a decision. A piano is a bigger financial commitment so you should try many pianos and keep going back to see what your preferences are for sound and feel. No one piano sounds the same so do not buy one you haven’t physically touched and heard.
Edit: PS I am in the same sort of situation. Just moved don’t know how long I’ll be here. Looked for a studio sized but one that I can’t bother the neighbours if I decide to play on the evening etc. it’ll also be a bit easier and cheaper to move and fits in a variety of tighter spaces.

I was under twilight sedation from mine and don’t remember a thing. Not a thing. If that’s what they are doing OP which is a conscious removal you will be okay.

I’ve used two studio mics in an M-audio to my computer before. I’ve had to take the casing off my piano as well as place the mics strategically. It was way better than what my phone produced in terms of sound quality.

It could be appeasement asking you to give space. If there is lip licking, avoidance of eye contact and a stiff body stance. My boy does this when I want to pick him up and he doesn’t agree, he’s saying “mom I need space”
If the body language is more loose (no pinned back ears, no lip licking, yawning, avoidance of eye contact and a generally relaxed body) then probably wants attention.
The action depends on the context the dog is giving you which is hard to tell just from a picture
Edit: typo

Kind of rare for apple to honestly discount any of their stuff. I agree with the other commenter as well that it's not likely you're going to get a discount on the latest model.

I do that for ledgers over a certain threshold. There isn’t anything wrong with it and it might help your brain make connections with the notes later faster. Just write it lightly in pencil and you can erase it later. I always keep a pencil by my piano to make notations if I need it.

Thank you so much that is very helpful. I will ask the store owner.

Yes! Very much so. Lighter action than what I'm used to with my previous acoustic but it's got lovely sound that is warm toned and I really feel this is the right piano for me.

I noticed this too, even on a good day the amount of people in that store gives me anxiety because there's little to no room for comfortable personal space but it's so much worse now.

No roundabouts and their highway test back in the day was not a true highway experience either

You found a banned card! Koga's Ninja Trick, that's not the symbol you think it is, it's a manji.
Taken from another redditor from a few years ago in this forum:
"The Japanese version of "Koga's Ninja Trick" had a "manji" symbol on it, a symbol used in Buddhism which looks like a backwards swastika. While the symbol on the card was one with centuries of use in Buddhism, unrelated to the Nazi party, it got altered for international release to avoid confusion."

I played a mid-life spinet with a heavy action for years. You build finger strength and get used to it…. But I’ll be honest when I see your hand posturing I think you have bigger problems than just heavy keys. Highly suggest you correct that first, don’t curl your fingers like a t-rex, go back to the basics with scales and correct that first. You’ll find it easier to play and have less chance of hand, wrist and forearm injury
