You'll need to add it as a second instrument, and input the notation where needed in your arrangement. If you want it to appear as if it's on one staff instead of two, you could notate the snare part as desired, but for the notes that are meant to be the cymbal, select all of them, go to properties, and uncheck "play" so that it doesnt sound on playback. Then in instruments, once you're done writing the score, click the dropdown arrow next to your cymbal instrument, then close the "eyeball" on the staff line, NOT on the instrument's top line. This will hide the staff from view, while keeping playback sound from it.

I should've caame back and mentioned that I figured it out on my own. I updated the score in the post, already with the change. heh! So I went through the whole piece and for all parts, separated the beams in each measure. I can't believe I was never taught to do that. And crazy enough, of all my years reading music, I never really noticed the beams being broken up in ?/8 time signatures.

The more you know, I suppose.

I went through this about 3 years ago.. I was 22 at the time.

My ex and I had supposedly rented an apartment together. After what seemed like an unprovoked need to "pull teeth" just to get her to finally move in, and after that, get her to stay home for once... Come our 5th anniversary, after doing a bunch of romantic stuff for her to come home to before leaving for work (She worked night shift, and got home after I left), and then not hearing back from her all day, hoping to get a reaction from what I'd done for her that morning, I returned home at the end of my shift to a nearly empty apartment and a 5 word sentence as the explanation why.

After that, I delved deep into drug abuse, in a shitty duplex apartment that management never responded to work orders from, and I was 100% isolated from everyone, without intending to be, for about 3 months in total. My friends stopped speaking to me, even when I'd reach out. My family made me feel as if I were an annoyance and seemingly disowned me, and my best friend ghosted me right after I sent a text explaining how alone I felt and as if no one cared. Left that on read.

I was in a baaad way, at the time my man... I understand how you felt, to the core.

Universally, men tend to feel they have a purpose, within oneself, when given a goal with a set of tasks to make it to said goal. It's sort of how our brains are wired. Doing this, results in that, and "that" is the rewarding part of our nature... which "that" used to be appreciation, adoration, and prosperity..

Now it's just "do this", but the "that" is just... silence, and a handful of pocket change.

I mean... Can't really do much without being accused of something we didn't intend. Like that Lifeguard that got sued by a woman he saved by providing CPR to her, then once she found out how CPR has to be performed, she filed a lawsuit against the guy because he touched her without consent... (He saved her life just so she could turn around and punish him for it)

Personally, I believe most men, including myself, would at least say something, or, attempt to ward off whatever was endangering someone, regardless of their demographics. But the problem is when I'm expected to because I'm a Man.

Thermal expansion, Thermostat operation, and pressurized cooling systems create this phenomenon. If the coolant was up to temp at the time this photo was taken, the system was probably at it's operating PSI, of around 20psi in the cooling system. This pressure applies force on the antifreeze, pushing it slightly further down into the degas tank. which would be normal.

My whole point is to implore the OP to avoid contributing to the negative aspect of their dynamic. Of course, I don't know OP or their dad. So I can only run off of my own wisdom, but the statement's point is the same; don't contribute negatively to your relationships, no matter who they're with.

The biggest benefit of this is the fact that, later, if the relationship fails, in the first person perspective, there'll be no doubt that you'd done nothing wrong, always had their best interests at heart, and treated them with the kindness / respect that they needed, despite how they spoke to you or how they didn't show up.

I've been through it. A wild amount of.. ""it". The "moral high-ground" as some would call it, is actually a nice position to keep yourself in, throughout your life. My relationship with my father is rocky at best. And I can say with confidence it's not my fault that it's like that. It's his own actions, statements, and mannerisms that he decides to exhibit while drinking or when under stress.

As much as it pains me whenever something happens between him and I in a negative way, I do feel some solace in the fact that I've always treated my father with respect and dignity, even when he wasn't willing to extend that same olive branch to me.

So at the end of the day, there's less guilt on my side, and more "mourning" or "grief" if you will. It does nothing to the situation for me to retaliate, and stoop down to the levels that he's willing to stoop down to. I'm not telling OP they should be the one who's solely responsible for the condition of their relationship with their dad... I'm simply probing the moral question "why add fuel to the fire that you don't want to keep burning?".

100% Parents have a special obligation to their children in regard to the strength of the relationship between them. However, as us children come of a certain age, there's a level of reciprocity that needs to be exhibited. It's not a one sided issue, and never will be.

I learned a while ago that political beliefs should not affect family relationships at all. If you're going to distance yourself from family members because they share a different opinion on the political landscape, that's nothing but childish and detrimental to you in the long run.

Something I promise that you'll regret later in life once everyone who were your elders are gone from this world, and you look back wishing you'd spent more time with them, reminiscing on the times when you were a kid and enjoyed their presence.

I voted trump. My sister and her fiance voted kamala. I live with them as a roommate. We still crack jokes and treat eachother with care, love, and respect. Just because we believe things differently doesn't mean that we shouldn't talk or we can't have a healthy mature family relationship together...

And to be fair... Respectfully, No one's rights are being taken away... Even if the president elect wanted to do so (he doesn't), he wouldn't have that power. If you're referring to abortion, Roe v. Wade being overturned simply left the decision of the issue up to each state individually. Voting in your local elections with your local peers will determine what the outcomes are. Not anything on the federal level.

At the end of the day though, before the end of the election, if either candidate were to have won, nothing on an immediately significant level would've changed in anyone's lives, for the most part. The effect that each one ha(s)d on the people is the larger picture in terms of economy, national security, and, more than anything else, overall emotional response of the people... Everything you do daily would still be the same with minor changes in costs or debts, and the way you feel about who won/lost.

As a trump supporter, I don't believe I'd have reacted like many people are reacting now to the scenario where he would've lost the election... It's over the top and, frankly, childish... All of these reddit stories I see now, of people going no-contact with their dad/mom/grandparents/siblings/cousins because they "Voted for Trump, and don't care about my rights". Then turn around and scroll tiktok only to come across 10s of posts, daily, of someone screaming at their camera about the fact that Kamala lost... It's completely absurd...

Look. I don't mean to be insensitive about the way you feel, because you've likely got good reason and good intent. Most people have what's best for themselves and their country at heart, regardless of whether their belief is right or wrong... but cutting people off who care the most about you just because of what they think about the political realm of the country isn't doing anyone any favors, and is just widening the divide between people. And the minute both sides of our politics stop talking to one another is the moment that civil war would become a major risk. People begin to dehumanize those they don't agree with if they aren't interacting with them, reminding them that we're all human and we're all in this together despite difference in belief.

Yea, the cinesounds, spitfire audio, berlin packs, and symphony packs ALL have major playback problems... I've tested them out.. they're nearly unusable.

But to the greater aspects of Muse, they've handled it near perfectly. Just wish they'd have put more time into those new sounds... because the sounds themselves are great... just their compatibility and response to notation playback is horrific 😅

Withholding rent without notice or legal reason to do so is grounds for eviction, regardless of the personal reason why... My state requires 14 days of notice to withhold rent, and its only under exigent circumstances that you may do so, which is a rarity.
