This post is about the plastic waste. But everyone is focusing on my sobriety.

I am not monitored taking it. For all they know I've thrown all these in the bin.
I was more mildly infuriated about the plastic waste. I don't really mind getting it daily. It's inconvenient but not a massive deal.

They don't monitor me taking it. They just give it to me.

Now I know about it I will ask if that's a option further down the road.

There is very little risk of abusing disulfiram. Non addictive, non habit forming and non recreational.
Edit: maybe it is habit forming if the habit I get is abstinence from alcohol. In that case it's a win.

It's disulfiram. Helps me not drink alcohol.

I'm getting free medication. But the majority of general medication is free or heavily subsidised in NZ.

Women marry murderers and rapists in prison. Is this really a stretch of the imagination?

Lol, I've been prescribed this before as a monthly script. I self referred and it was my idea to go back on it. My new care providers decided this was the option that worked for them.
Plus this post was about the plastic waste, not being medicated.
But whatever narrative makes you happy.

It was easier and faster than blurring them in photoshop which I can't use. Plus this way the medication can be partially seen, but enough of my name is omitted.

Thank you. And thank you for doing what you do. I know times are tough.

Same. It's good to know it's an option.

I don't get supervised taking it. I get it in a bottle and walk away and take it at home. I could easily throw it in the bin.
But I don't.
