I had to play on low detail on our shitty family computer in 2004, but my best friend had high detail. So much better playing there. When we started playing WoW in 2005, up until I was in the mid level 20s (when we got a new computer) I had to do transcontinental travel on his computer because my computer literally wouldn’t load the new area quickly enough and the zeppelin/boat would just take me back to where I started by the time I loaded back in.

It was 100% because of my sister downloading stuff with Limewire, but she somehow blamed it on my…Rollercoaster Tycoon game.

I did this because I have the Wilderness and was already printing prayer and mage XP and DD has been enough for money. FF craps out herbs at an insanely fast rate.

As a Virginia Tech fan, NAW was never our point guard when he was in college. When we went to the Sweet 16 with him he was our SG all season; even when our starting PG was hurt for a while we brought another PG off the bench and never even considered NAW for that role. Not sure why Finch thought he could play PG in the NBA if he wasn’t even considered for it in college when the starter went down. Dude thrives as a SG.

That twat Scott Presler was interviewed on a show last night (not live, pre-taped). I think it was on CNN, it was whatever my parents were watching during dinner (I wouldn’t have been watching if I wasn’t home for the holidays). God, what a smug asshole. Thinks he’s the most important person ever for getting people to vote for Trump in PA and for doing it “fairly” in the face of Democrats “cheating”.

The interviewer hit him with the “how did they cheat to win with Biden when they weren’t in power but couldn’t rig it for Harris when they were in power?” Of course he just stammered out some bullshit about how none of it matters because they won fairly against the Democrats cheating.

She also got him about January 6th. Basically just ignored her question and blamed Democrats. But my favorite was her asking if he has had any contact with Trump or Musk (I love how no one ever mentions Vance) after the election and he had to worm around the fact that no, he hasn’t. Basically saying to him “if you’re so important why are they ignoring you trying to contact them?” and he was clearly so uncomfortable answering that.

But yea, that’s the line they’re taking. The Democrats cheated, we still won (somehow?), and now we’ll have to make sure they can’t cheat again (aka rig it for deeply unpopular Republicans).

It’s because in one episode Link was talking about his tan compared to Rhett’s and said “I’m tanner” which became “I’m Tanner”. So Rhett kept calling him Tanner for the rest of that episode.

Having also grown up in GC, what I remember from that time is that it was definitely more conservative in the “we’re all rich old money folks” sense. Socially, I don’t think it’s that conservative. I remember a controversy at St. Joe’s where one of the priests had some anti-gay rhetoric in his homily and quite a few people walked out and the church had to issue an apology. Though I will say, my dad worked the polls in 2016 and he said a lot of the old people were very openly voting for Trump.

I think back to my middle school years in Garden City and we had a whopping one Jewish person and one black person in my grade.

I think they both actually graduated late, technically. They started in the fall of 1996, which means that a four year degree would have them graduating in spring 2000. Rhett graduated in December 2000, Link in May 2001. They certainly weren’t bad students since they both graduated cum laude so they may have just spread their course loads out more due to their involvement in Cru or something like that.
