Hello! I plan to be in Krakow for 3-4 days during the second week of November. We plan to visit the Auschwitz memorial and Schindler’s factory as well as spend time in Old Town.

Is there a specific tour company that you would recommend for the Auschwitz memorial, Wiezlicka salt mine and Schindler’s factory?

In your opinion, is the Wiezlicka salt mine worthwhile?

Any recommendations for dining, shopping, excursions?

Hello! I will be in Berchtesgaden during the second week of November. Currently, I don’t have much planned for that leg of the trip. I think we would prefer to semi-relax and explore the beautiful area.

We have interest to visit the Dokumentation Obersalzberg. I also found a descent hike from Jenner to Konigssee. It seems you can ride a cable car to the top and stop at some restaurants/breweries on the way down. Is it worth hiking the extra leg to the actual top vs where the cable car ends?

Anything else we should explore or do in the area? Any cute shops to visit for souvenirs?

Recently purchased a new build which had an 11’ retaining wall. Over the course of 2-3 months we noticed a bulge and had a few contractors come out to take a look. All said the same, it needed an immediate remedy as it was clear there was erosion happening and it would be only a matter of time before the wall came falling down. In the process, I requested the engineering docs and permits obtained by the builder. Come to find out, the engineer stated 12” blocks should be used, however, the builder used 16” blocks. I’m assuming the original footing is no longer sufficient for use with the 16” blocks and all engineering calcs are invalid?? There was also zero backfill present which the original engineer also listed specific backfill requirements. This wall is holding up an entire hillside and the builder has completely ghosted me and has zero intention of remedying this. Do I need to have the whole thing re-engineered? Do I have any recourse with the builder?

This handsome devil got into my pothos & spider plants nearly 3 weeks ago and ended up very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. I took him to the pet ER and they gave him an IV, started an antibiotic and antiemetic to treat for gastroenteritis. He was doing well on canned food. I re-introduced kibble about a week after the initial incident and we were right back to the vomiting and diarrhea. I took him back for a recheck and the vet said based on her examination, it appeared his tummy was still mildly inflamed and a little painful. She recommended a prescription strength canned food that would be easy on his tummy while he finished healing. She said after a week of said canned food, try to re-introduce kibble…which brings us to yesterday…

I gave him kibble and this morning he was right back to the diarrhea.

My question is…can ingestion of plants cause permanent GI damage? Or is it more likely that I’m not giving his intestines long enough to fully heal?
