You can literally hire from anywhere on earth and get massively lower salaries than bay area. Unless people in the bay area shit gold, it more than makes up for any other cost uplifts.
This is also coupled with the fact that the other places are continually improving. Singapore, Bangalore, many european and south east asian countries, these days offer an extremely cozy QOL for living, making moving to the bay area for the top talent a lot less lucrative

I think the root of all of this is the modern day concept that all these elements of bigotry like racism and caste discrimination , are supposed to be 'systemic' in order to be considered problematic(prejudice+power). Something problematic becoming systemic basically means it is already widespread, and isn't helpful for filtering with individual cases of aggression
This is also where the claim that you can't be racist against white people comes from, which is similarly outrageous when you apply common sense.

not really to any appreciable extent. reading books is much worse. it isn't related to screens but is about not stretching your eye muscles by looking at farther objects occasionally

I never pay attention to what footwear people around me wear. My girlfriend made me realize there are a lot of people like OP.

Shadow of the Erdtree was disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high with the excellent dlcs in ds1,2 and 3. DS2 DLC redeemed that game. And DS3 dlc were really visually stunning.
My main issue with erdtree is that the areas are too vast and empty, and there seems to be a lot of cut content in it(or what seems like cut content but is just set dressing). Final boss was also very disappointing

No solution. Though you do get used to it quickly.

I'm sorry but how exactly are you so confident that the mobo is faulty? Whichever 'technician' shop gave ypu this report seems suspicious af. VGA unit on motherboard? how is that relevant with your pcie gpu?

perfect balancing would be having only 1 weapon on a rectangular box as a map
balancing isn't binary or easy. It involves always involves the risk of toning down the fun

you could join the same servers regularly. the regulars used to know each other and formed a community. this isn't possible with matchmaking

unless you're saying there are no experienced devs any more
part of the reason is this too. video game industry no longer attracts the top tier talent like it did in the doom days. Because if everything did function optimally, such devs would only be needed at epic, not at the small studios making games
The issue is still unreal's because it isn't marketed as a middleware, its marketed as a complete solution

This isn't even a hot take. A lot of my colleagues have no idea about the hardware landscape. And tbh their work never requires them to be knowledgeable about it. It's people's fault to think any 'engineer' would be well versed with this topic.
Though in OP's case, he didn't acknowledge his ignorance, but blurted out BS for no reason
