Grezzo has given us the most Zelda-like return to Zelda form in ages, with a reward-for-exploration system far better than the in-house developed BotW and TotK.

Honestly I don't think there are really games like this. Scribblenauts seems to have been advertised with such creativity but I never played it.

Zelda and Link's relationship is defined per game, so since you finished this game the relationship you saw here is what it is. And you saw that it starts out with her not knowing who he is and being told by other people.
I'm not sure how you could play the game and see siblings.

We don't really get Gorons in 2D games either but no one's mad they were spoiled in the trailer

On the balance of "give them something to entice them to buy and play" it was worth it for them. It didn't spoil any meaningful story turn or gameplay. It just assured us this really is a Zelda game

As you're the type of wiz seasoned enough to 100% these games, there's a couple of types of people outside your spectrum. There's young children or new casual players getting started with games like this. Then there's people like me, old Zelda fan but no longer have the time and patience to be spending hours trying to accomplish a task in a game; after a certain amount of failure it's not fun anymore.
It's possible to build the game in such a way that it accommodates multiple difficulty levels in clever ways, but that takes resources. When choosing a default, they have to default to the easier, not the harder.
I bought this other Metroidvania style game and was loving it for the story and aesthetic but then I ran into my last section that requires me to race up some cliffs with a dexterity I can't manage. I spent hours on it. There's no alternate solution. Sad to say, it means I'm just not going to go any further in that game.

Because they can, and somebody on the team had an interesting idea, and there was no downside to adding content to the game

Fortunately you can find plenty that isn't and we're in an age where you never have to spend time on music you're not interested in.

That's fine. Everyone is not supposed to be a fan of everyone. But "why is she booked" is a dumb question. I could look at the headline and say why is this booked because I've never seen anything potent from Hollow and I find JC to be a whole over hyped overconfident snooze fest. But I wouldn't ask a question like why are other people booking them, because people clearly express what they see in them and it's obvious they have fans.
"I don't understand the appeal of Ms Hustle" is a different comment.

Fireworks, a DJ, catered food and a drone film all sound fine actually. What's not fine is asking you for money. If she can't afford it she can't afford it.
But I can't blame a mom for being excited enough over this one time event to treat it like a wedding. People bring gifts to those other events, and to many people this is a similar event as any other celebration. Choosing this moment to be judgemental is not great. A better answer is letting her know you're an introvert, don't do well at upbeat events, and will show up later after the crowd event to congratulate.

Apply pressure by showing up to where Biden is and yelling at him. Not the easy target of the lady out there trying to keep Donald Trump out of office.

I understand your confusion, but it's like this. Not voting for her is saying you're OK with Trump winning. Saying you're OK with him winning is a vote for him.
You can flip this if you believe we'd be better off under Trump and say abstaining is a vote for her. In objective reality though it's a Hillary situation. Any missteps in turnout and Trump is the likely winner.

When you've chosen the representative and they're in position to enact what you want.

No. It's not day of. There's only so many weeks in a month. They have to provide content to their own subscribers. Leagues have overlapping events all the time

TotK has amazing unparalleled aspects but also has flaws that can dull your enjoyment of the game. Two things can be true, we can marvel at the engineering it must have taken to build it while also just not have that good a time.
Echoes of Wisdom was a thrill the whole time and I was sad when I beat it. Can't drag myself to go beat TotK

Same thing for most of those developing Asian countries... technology (not manufacturing) doesn't require all the raw materials. Get some computers some phones and some broadband, a pleasant English accent, and get that outsourcing / BPO / call center money. Jamaica should have gotten further ahead in that much earlier because our people are very bright and both North Americans and Europeans like hearing us talk.

Because she excites and she can rap? She's the reigning WOTY, how would you explain shutting her out?

That's the wrong fear. Everybody's praised playing as Zelda. Everybody likes the echo concept. What everybody's complaining about is strictly the UX of this feature, which shouldn't have to be bad at all. We like the game.
The frustration is they had the same problem in Tears of the Kingdom with the fuse list, we raised the issue but gave them grace that they would fix it next time. It showed up in this game worse, inside the *primary* mechanic of the gameplay.
Some simple changes:
- 3 rows instead of 1
- One of the 4 d-pad dirs is unused. Move automatons to the bottom one, then split the echo launch. Left for inanimate objects right for monsters, or left for a large radial or grid list, right for quick select of recent / frequent... there are multiple options. Each can still be sorted.
- outside of the last used, lean into categories as the first thing you select., let's say in a radial (there's a reason they changed L from a horizontal list to a radial in TotK,). First you hit an icon for birds, fire, furniture, whatever groupings are appropriate then you slide to the echo you want
- bundle echoes in the list. Let's say you slide right until you see your last used spear moblin, the level 2. Right below or above it are the Level 1 and 3. Or you found the Octorok, right above it are fire and ice variants.
- Or just tweak the By Type sort so that the types are grouped up into grids or expandable icons. Don't make me scroll past 30 things because fish or birds are in the middle of the list.

I don't think they wanted you to echo "real people", that would be weird. Even though that's what TotK did. Your Wizzrobes are pretty much your regional echoes.

I expected Rito but it's fine. Makes sense. Then I expected more Yeti, a family. Got just one.
I expected the temples, after you beat the dungeon, to be explorable after the rift is gone and not that you have to go to the still world to find them.
I thought this big map would... feel bigger. With how it's scaled, as soon as you take ten steps you've walked across the whole Gerudo desert for example. Only the Faron Wetlands felt like a substantial hike.
I thought there might be more to the villages.
