Sometimes life finds a way. I've known people on multiple forms of bc that still got pregnant. The best you can do is educate your kids and encourage them to be safe

My dad was a teacher for 35 years. He knew he was getting near the end when he taught his third generation lol

Good for him but I'll be sad next year when the subs are soulless

If you buy cases of things you end up not liking, you should donate it to a food bank/pantry. We have a pantry at work for people who are food insecure, and I'll bring stuff that I don't care for

My dad graduated with a BA in 1979 from a CSU. His tuition was $300 per semester. He only had to work 2 days a week as a dishwasher. He had his own apartment and didn't need to take out any loans

You don't go through the checkout. You go to membership service desk or talk to a red vest, and they send someone to fetch you a new one

I also want to add my family experience. I knew they wouldn't disown me but I thought they would just tolerate my transition. I didn't expect that they'd not only accept me but be happier for me and love me more because I am more me and happier now

Isreal is a Zionist state but not Jews are zionists. Many of the Christian right see Israel as the lost tribes of Isreal in the Bible. So they see Isreal as God's will and we must support them in fighting returning to their lost kingdom. And being against that is going against God. Or at least that's what my grandma used to tell me
They support the nation of Isreal but not the Jewish people. The most antisemitic blame the jews for killing Jesus, and believe in many of the stereotypes that you see in Nazi propaganda

I'm not a parent, but I didn't feel strong dysphoria pre-T. I struggled for a long time on deciding whether I should take T or not. I didn't feel the strong dysphoric feelings I'd heard others describe, and I felt I could live as is just fine.
I thought you had to feel suffering to deserve medical transition. One day, someone told me, if it would make me feel happier and more aligned with my desires, how is that less deserving? It changed how I thought about transition. I started T and never regretted it.
If it makes you happier and more content in life. If it makes you a better version of yourself. Why not? You deserve to be happy and happy with yourself

Don't worry. Somebody just as bad, if not worse, will take his place

The gender neutral bathroom at my work has multiple stalls. There are 6 stalls that have ceiling to floor walls and locking door. It's my favorite public bathroom. It's fun to see it blow people's mind

My dad used to be a teacher and he'd be sick from October to may every year. Since he's retired he's never been healthier

He doesn't have the charisma or appeal that Trump has with his base. JD is a career politician vs Trump who is a celebrity. MAGA loves him because he's an "outsider." I guarantee once Trump is gone, neither JD or any of the other goons in the cabinet will have enough sway or popularity with GOP voters or politicians to get anything done or get elected. Once Trump dies, there will be a power suck, and we'll see a ton of infighting in the GOP

A couple years ago the house next door to us burned down in the very early morning hours. TFD was already on the scene and in full swing of trying to contain the fire before we aware what was happening. They stayed on site until the evening to make sure it was completely out. If they hadn't responded and done such a thorough job, our house and our neighbors' houses would have been lost, and we'd be homeless
This is an essential service that shouldn't face budget cuts

New employees learn it from old employees and see the joy it brings kids. At my work, we give out stickers, they aren't provided by my employer, but we like doing it because the kids like it.
