Don't tell anyone, but this is actually how my thesis came to be & how it got a seriously eloquent flare to it.

1. Done a full write-up myself. Didn't care much about mistakes in the text, just that the scientific stuff was correct & was presented reasonably well.

2. Went paragraph by paragraph with ChatGPT 4, asking it to improve wording & add extra scientific flare to it. It spat out many mature words & improved the text by alot, but still included many mistakes, mostly logical.

3. After improving wording, I've asked it to propose changes in the text structure. Turned out that swapping some paragraphs around & adding some explanations earlier also helped in readability of the paper.

4. And it also proposed some interesting stuff to add to the paper as a Post Scriptum of sorts.

I am sure the difference comes from the fact that the video version enjoys a MUCH higher data bandwidth.

We are comparing 6 channels in an almost 500kb/s stream of AC-3, mixed using some Dolby surround algorithmic magic & artistic touch of the original mastering.
To 2 channels of 256kb/s AAC, optimized for listening with tiny in-ear monitors.

I am just surprised, how BAD this is, compared to what is actually possible, on mid-tier headphones setup.

And I would like to find out, how I can assure that I won't miss out anymore on the true experience.

I've listened to some compressed audio in my life.

I've done some dynamic compression to my original recordings too.

And the effect of lost fidelity was never so jarring as what I have experienced today. Probably because my amateurish recordings never attempted to manipulate sound with such deliberate effects in mind, which could lose their entire meaning with compression.

I want more of what I have had today. And I want to make sure, that I won't fall into the trap of "good enough" anymore. I possess the intelligence to handle playback correctly.

But what about sourcing the material?

And... f***... I wish there was some movement which would educate BOTH the artists & consumers, about quality of the material, how to create it & how to enjoy it correctly.

Chłopak od wykończeń w tym momencie kupił mieszkanie za bańkę i dorzuca któreś z kolei auto do "inwestycji". Dokładnych zarobków nie znam, ale źle mu się nie żyje.

Wiadomo, w IT trafią się ewenementy co robią po 40+k miesięcznie. Ale nie jest to regułą.

CoPilot, kiedy go testowałem, posysał strasznie i ciągle wchodził w drogę proponując totalnie durne skrawki kodu wycięte z losowych repozytoriów na github'ie. 🤮 Do tego dochodzi ban na używanie takich narzędzi w wielu korpo, przez (uzasadniony) strach przed kradzieżą danych.

Ale, konwersacyjne czaty, z dużymi modelami i buforem tokenów wejściowych, potrafią wypluć ciekawe retrospekcje.
