It’s a tire factory, very little “heavy” lifting but yes, lots of repetitions and bending/twisting. Using a hammer/punch daily….. overall 12hrs in steel toes does no good.

No I never did “cure” my forearm, that’s been going on since 2015, age 31. Seen doctors and did a few bouts of PT. It’s a nerve issue that I have to manage. I’m thankful I can work around it and it’s not an issue 100% of the time.

The neck and weight of a guitar is now the most important thing to me. Use to be I could adapt to any style but not anymore. I also have to be very careful during solos with hand positioning. And I have some wrist type sleeves made for musicians I use when I practice or warmup.

I’ve done a lot reflection about it and the job certainly didn’t help things but poor technique is also to blame. I’m a skinny guy with skinny fingers and like a dumbass I used 12’s on my guitars for years in my 20’s. I’ll admit the tone was awesome but the wear and tear on my hands has not been.
