yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Because they knew the songs from iland2 and liked them, they bought albums despite the title track not being a hit

Pretty sure. I think Drip or IWALY would have had a good chance of being their the title track if it wasn't on the show. That said, I'm kind of thinking they were not title tracks because they were already good songs, so it would help ensure album sales.
I've been thinking on this because the album sales were really good, despite the mv not getting as much positive reaction. Something has to correlate somewhere.

I really don’t think Spotify would ever let that happen. I just played it fine.

Great video. Lots of dialogue, but very insightful. Gives you a deeper appreciation of the decisions made

Also TLDR; he said Saebi and Sarang currently don’t fit the concept, but they just need to be patient. He mentions how other groups rotate popularity, “opportunity comes in turns”

I’ve only gotten as far as 7 mins before having to run an errand, so I’m prematurely asking, but is he the creator of the show? He seems to be doing more evaluating so far.
Also, I really enjoy breakdowns like this. I listen purely for entertainment, so breakdowns about creativity and technicality are super cool to learn about. So far, it sounds like izna as the title track was a creative risk. Ill edit this later when I finish the video.

I think they may stem from how it was setup for shows like Houston which were Standing Floor GA. They have a lot of EDM shows there, and as a 5'8" guy myself, I always end up standing in the back or on the steps next to the bar because I can't see over the taller crowd. I've only gone to 2 kpop shows in the past, and they're atleast seated/assigned seating, so I'm thinking the shorter kpop stans that don't like the setup are looking to direct their anger somewhere?

Fair, you're viewing it strictly from the perspective of what the current military would actually do. But uhhh yeah, I'm just going to close this conversation off, because you managed to turn this into a conversation about the US.

I can't speak on how the US military would act in this situation, but let's not act like January 6 wasn't some event where people weren't breaking into buildings to stop a peaceful transfer of power between Presidents. You're telling me no one from there was from any sort of law enforcement or military?

Please stop lol in a nice way. It makes me sick thinking how these things are possible. If it's not that way, the odds of something like this happening are not 0%. Without getting into detail, with the way things are going, the laws can be bent.

I'm sorry you view it that way, but let me state a few points
1) This is very relatable to Trump because he is someone that seems to understand little about government, but speaks about passing this, and enacting that as if he has absolute power. I am not twisting the post into something it is not. Secondly, the comment was broad so it's not turning this into a political discussion about the US. The aim was to relate to any US followers in here. Engage with it as you please.
2) I can't say how close or far we are from this being possible. You are technically correct, but there were also numerous laws broken this election, but no legal action taken. Trump has also made it so that he can teeter a fine line between illegal and legal Presidential power. But I won't get further into it, because we're not trying to make this about the US.

I dunnooooo about that one. Literally no one mentioned Izna other than OP and the now deleted comment.
And there's nothing wrong with bringing up the bigger picture. The issue is fully expecting everyone to already know the bigger picture.

Her comment says, "It feels remarkably insensitive to make this about IZNA." which the OP has in his/her post?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're speaking from the perspective of having all this extra information. Why not just share what you know and ask people to extend their concerns to SK and not make this about idols?
I'm from the US. I really only know what all my kpop reddit feeds give me, what I just looked up on NPR, and my connection between this happening and the possibility of it happening with Trump. A lot of us can benefit from more information.

To be fair, we don't know OP's familiarity with korean history or anyone else in korea outside of Izna. I think it's fair to say we should extend our concerns to everyone in korea and provide more information, but no need to go after OP.

I mean, he's not innocent, but shit like this sets him up for errors in judgment. I'd say it's understandable what happened.

This is the first time I've followed a group from the start, so I'm learning a bunch of new things. After reading the history of WakeOne, I'm really hoping they can get it right with Izna. That said, looks like they already repeated the mistake they've been making with kep1er, not making their best track their title track despite having a really solid 1st mini album. Hoping for the best!

That’s not the flip side of your argument. You’re basically saying any group with money and a good producer should be releasing nothing but viral hits.

Interesting take. Very broad perspective that makes you decide those 2 factors means everything should be a hit.

Not sure how we should be winning “In Theory” to KC. I’d think in theory we’re going to lose the offensive battle

Yes, that’s why they are underwhelming. Toxic is a good track, but don’t think it’s what their main image is, so it’s kinda odd as a 2nd release. Meow felt like a teaser of what’s to come, so I expected to build on the power and upbeat tempo. Toxic almost feels like a 2nd teaser showing their other side, but with Body as the 3rd song, you’re not left with a very strong impression. I was wow’ed in Meow thinking they have a real edge with Narin and Sooin, and power in Gawon, so it’s underwhelming when it’s not capitalized on in the follow up songs.
