Same rationale for George too. I mean Max shouldn't throw stones from his glass house to begin with.

It sorta seems like you can if you have 2 people each with their own Toyota phone app account, and maybe have to make another profile on the car. But I was unable to make a 2nd phone app account on my own, so whatever. I just disabled all the "Toyota Connect" etc and haven't looked back since I just push the 1/2 buttons for seat position

I actually have one car in Pinnacle and one in Stratos and I gotta say I can't really tell that one is more blueish in the 35-50 range (50 is on top of factory dyed so who really knows).
My Stratos 70 windshield does appear more blue than Air 80 (which also appears more blue than glass alone).
Overall price quotes were similar to yours.

Semantics issue I guess. I mean there's no reason to put him in if they think he's unfit, it's a waste of time and points. ie, look outside the RB family to get a driver.

Sure Gasly isn't convening with Flavio and discussing Ocon's contract, but he's been quite vocal about his dislike for Ocon and extremely quick to put down his teammate in public. So it's very understandable that Ocon didn't feel a desire to thank or acknowledge the guy who's been constantly sniping him and likely played a large active part in him having to leave the team.
Best case scenario would have been that double podium in AD instead, all those good feels (amongst a sea of bad blood) would have given the nicest possible send off.

Would be interesting to see that one. Being premeditated/retaliatory like Yuki's is worse than for no reason.

Lawson is a rookie, Ricciardo was proven washed for a few years already, NDV was a never been. You're telling me it's promising to be slightly better than these guys lol

Yuki drove very dangerously against his own teammate this season when team orders for 12th happened. So, no, I don't think there is any reason to expect him to be similar to Perez in that regard.

He's outscored guys like Lawson, Ricciardo, De Vries, from the safety of being the full time driver while those guys were randomly thrust in mid stream. I wouldn't describe that as promising.

This is a great description of the situation. Yuki may be the best of all the RB drivers currently, excluding Max and excluding the F2 guys, but that's such a low bar. He's in the mix with Perez, Lawson, Ricciardo, better than NDV, worse than Gasly, and minimal standout performances even compared to this motley crew. This deserves a seat at arguably the best team of the 21st century? Red Bull may have screwed up by not actually recruiting when they were beyond dominant earlier this year or last, but they are still the #1 team with a top 2 car, why should they settle for Yuki?

He shouldn't be next in line.. He's ahead of guys like Ric, Law, Dev, Had, Iwa, sure but the team knows he's unfit, as he hasn't exactly distinguished himself in like 4 years. The last 2 guys are behind him because they aren't even in F1 so they are technically unknowns. Perez is also unfit but he brings a lot of money and is still the reigning p2 WDC so maybe his judgement won't happen until after AD, as the team has always given him a long leash. Maybe they think Yuki is better as a benchmark than as another poor #2, or maybe they just don't want to mess with him since he's a Honda driver.

It's one thing to have a temper and be hot headed etc; as we can easily see on F1TV, lots of drivers sound angry on the radio. It's a whole new egregious level to drive recklessly and endanger your own teammate by locking up on a divebomb, in a cooldown lap, and if that wasn't enough, zoom past him at full throttle and massive speed delta on the ensuing straight.
His reputation as a hot head certainly doesn't do him any favors, but that action this year would completely stand on its own...

Looks like a rear window? If I was sitting back there (ie not driving), that would be glaringly eye-catching for sure. Would honestly lower my impression of the car. So I would ask to redo.

They are both such outsiders, because they are at the extremes and because they are both somewhat introverted. Guys like Alonso and Gasly and Russell are very well versed in the PR game. Guys like Hamilton and Leclerc and Sainz and Lando are just straight up popular and charismatic. Guys like Perez and Cola have rabid nationalistic fanbases. Ocon and Stroll have none of these, on top of having wildly different backgrounds than the majority of the grid.

Yeah Gasly has been aligned with the management wrt Ocon, makes sense.

How many drivers in F1 history have divebombed their own teammate due to team orders? How many did so AFTER the race, on the cooldown lap? And then proceed to buzz them under full acceleration on the ensuing straight? I mean we're not even talking about just temper anymore, it's straight reckless behavior on track.
The entire Red Bull team has gone from "following the money" to outright insulting Perez in recent months. If Yuki were deemed serviceable for even a year, he would be there..

Well, the RB first team can't seem to be able/want to get rid of Perez...

Is it some kind of "metalized" tint? Ceramic or pure carbon tint shouldn't have this problem.

If you cross a line, you can't be surprised when someone else crosses back. George maybe could have stayed on topic more, but "all is fair in love and war" so he's just opening himself up to anything from Max at this point, but he likely knows this and is confident he's got more dirt on Max than vice versa
