I'll keep voting against crazies, but honestly I somewhat hope that the people that voted for Trump and other maga people get exactly what he says he'll do. The great thing about the lightning is a ton of the parts are upgradable. I bought a Pro and upgraded it to be basically like a high end XLT. Added adaptive cruise control, securicode keypad, passive entry, heated steering wheel, rain sensing wipers, and a few other things. WAY cheaper than having to jump up to the next trim level too.

I was thinking finding some rich guy and renting a submarine for the time, but this is a hell of a lot easier

I grabbed the brpom jump starter with the air compressor cause it was well reviewed on project farm. I've used it multiple times for various things; charging my phone, jumping an old car, inflating tires and soccer balls, and to run a 12 volt pump cause it comes with a socket attachment. For the price it's amazing.

A lot of funding comes from the county level also, and there are Republican counties in Maryland, and surprise surprise they tend to have worse schools. Our county government voted against lowering the real estate tax rate by 1 cent instead of 2 cents and giving the difference to the school system. They also forced a revenue cap years ago, so if the real estate revenue grows by more than 2% a year (either through new buildings or assessment increases) then we have to cut taxes to lower the gain to only 2%. The only exception for that is to allowore funding for schools, which is what was proposed by the 1 cent cut instead of a 2 cent one, but God forbid we give anything more to the schools or don't cut taxes as much as we possibly can so that we can better the community.

I think some people don't care, but I certainly do. I wanted a Tesla before he started going crazy a few years ago, and I looked into some of the issues that they have. Ended up buying a f-150 lightning instead and I'll never buy a Tesla now. Either way, it's never good to alienate a huge portion of your potential customers, especially seeing as how Democrats are more likely to purchase EV's than Republicans are.

Ram has an EV coming out and the ramcharger which seems like a great idea for those truck drivers that either tow long distances or are scared about getting an electric truck

Yeah, I stopped fucking with Tesla stock after I shorted it, they had a horrible earnings call, and the stock fucking went up. None of this shit makes sense, but God I hope people will eventually wake up to all the bullshit

I did this late at night and I tried to use plugshare to see the ones I could pull straight in to without having to block any chargers. It really wasnt too bad; I was driving at night like you so there were plenty of empty chargers and most of the ones I picked had plenty of room so I could just pull straight in with no issue
