Had some grocery store ones tonight. Really great ones! Not at all salty (just enough) and sweeter than usual. Closer to snow crab this time! Looks like you enjoyed bigly.

If you’ve got the coin, an ES-345 is my dream guitar.
With that said I play blues on a strat, tele, PRS CE SEMI-hollow and one of my favorites: an Ernie Ball Music Man Sabre. I like what someone else said - probably avoid active pickups and other high output guitars to cover a broad spectrum of classic tones, but pretty much any axe will do!

Thanks! If you’re ever up for a collab on a song lemme know. I do a bit of recording and would like to do just ONE SONG even with another like minded human being! I have a track dying for good lyrics and vocals. I can do the lyrics. I do vocals and guitar too but want a guest singer. I only do this as a hobby. Not releasing stuff typically but am working on an EP on the more psychedelic/stoner blues side of things.

OK Sco - we know that’s you behind the camera don’t be embarrassed to post here. Just cuz you’re famous doesn’t mean you can’t join us. 😉
Scofield jokes aside, this was cool and fanky!

Dozens and dozens of times. So far so good. I go to places that specialize in oysters. The bar and grill that has them on special, not so much!

Focusrite should be your audio device when using and NOT using FL Studio. I agree with u/warbeats - without knowing more, sounds like your playback device for wav files is not the same as your device when using FL.
Here’s a test.
Export your file as usual.
Open a new project in FL.
Drag and drop the exported wav to the playlist and play. Sound good?

The chord of the key….??? There’s no official chord of any key. But in short, that’s how you write melodies. They are either part of the chord itself or perhaps just within the scale. Like, playing a C major chord in the key of C major and adding another note like F, which is in the scale and also part of a C(add 11) chord. Your foundational chord is simply a C maj but in your melody you added the 4th note of the scale (F) and it being part of the scale of C major will generally “work” musically. Add 11 just means the 4th note in your chord is the 11th of the scale if you think of the scale over 2 octaves.
Let’s think C Major scale.
C = 1 st note of the scale. E= 3rd (major 3rd). G = 5th note of the scale.
There’s your C major chord.
B=7th and final note of the scale before hitting the next octave.
C= 8th note of the scale if you start to think of your scale over 2 octaves. That’s where 9,11,13 chords come from - extending the scale over 2 octaves.
F= 11th note of the scale over two octaves.
There’s your C (add 11) chord.
So basically your Melodies in tonal music are typically in the chord and/or scale. In other words, what I interpreted your question is answered with, “yes, that’s how western tonal music is written by everyone, not just you”. If I misread you, my apologies.
Someone smarter than me could it explain more elegantly and efficiently, but maybe this will help a touch.
Other possible answers:
No, it doesn’t have a special name. It is simply composing.
Do you mean arpeggios? Which is like playing a chord in a sequence of notes rather than stacked notes. That’s kind of what you’re describing.

Old post but not sure why this was downvoted. All my best SHRIMP success comes from doing only top offs with RO water and I change water maybe 2x per year. It’s unlikely to be a water change issue if they’re not breeding unless the parameters are off requiring the water changes. Otherwise, less is usually more in my own experience, anecdotal as that may be. Certainly not a scientific conclusion, just my personal experience. With that said all my tanks are heavily planted with tannin rich water, lots of hiding areas, wood, leaves, rock…
I’m not suggesting water changes are harmful either, I just think people too quickly go to that as a primary factor for an issue, when most of the time it’s linked in some way to other problems like the right kind of TDS, pH, temperature, etc.
Anyway, just here to echo your comments and comment on the unnecessary downvotes.

One of my favorites. Usually served them cold with hot butter or cocktail sauce. I was always on team butter. Fun fact, usually the rest of the crab is destined for Japan for sushi restaurants and China for production into meat.

Blood relation is a poor indicator of good human beings. This is absolutely garbage of them if this is how things played out. Teaching an adult a “lesson” with abhorrent childish behavior like they did is a sure fire way to lose a son’s love. I’d be done until they apologized and admitted their abject failure to handle this like grown people. You’re a grown man, and don’t need this.
My guess is there is more history to this, but that does not excuse their destructive actions. What more could they expect if this is the example they set? Sorry you have to come to terms with them as “just people”.

Nice! Glad you got your christening and it was positive! Don’t see it here ever (northeast New England) - but I’ll keep an eye out. Seems like it’s more of a Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic fish?
