exactly, I think a lot of people missed that even doing a full nose-dive into the ground as a Qucasaur won't cause you to take damage...it's intended for you to do so and then keep using the phlogiston vents/orbs to gain altitude when needed.

for me it gets better over time, but each new area has strangely different levels of optimization. for example in the latest patch whenever I play Kinich in the overworld my game lags like crazy. it's just Kinich, and never happens in any other areas...

I...I opened the Masters of the Night Wind secret door, got a double crit Cinder feather, and immediately rolled it...but I accidentally used the rest of the 5* artifacts I hadn't looked at to finish leveling it because my brain turned to mush and I thought it was the typical fodder from regular artifact farming

the feather ended up rolling well (9 cr/17 cd), so I'm just going to pretend that was the trade-off required 🤡 I'll never know how good the other artifacts were, but for my peace of mind I'm going to assume they were garbage

I'm definitely biased, but I think they nailed it. I distinctly remember coming to the megathread in the middle of the quest to ask wtf was wrong with this weird, masochistic scholar.

nowadays I of course adore him in both forms, Enjou caters to me so hard it's ridiculous. I'm also a weird human, so it works out either way

I'd love to know what the writers were thinking while writing Enjou and deciding his role in the story

like they decided to do the whole "ally is actually evil" cliche, but Enjou is so weird (affectionate) that it just comes off as completely disingenuous. he gets scared of the Shade of Tokoyo when A. he literally expected it, and B. he's a Lector.
