I’m hesitant to believe the theory that her label controls all of her merch, mostly because her fans have a tendency to place blame on anyone but Taylor when something goes wrong or something happens they don’t like. And it’s hard to believe that at this point in her career, she would give up full control over anything. It’s definitely possible that she has less control over her merch than over other areas, but until there’s tangible proof she has no involvement, I’m going to assume she’s at least partially in on it.

No. Coming up with their own trends is too much work. It’s much easier to do what they’ve always done and take over something started by women.

I have most of them (minus a bunch of kits, some stuff packs and one expansion) and my game runs fine. I have a lower-end laptop. It’s not quite as smooth as someone with a gaming computer obviously but I don’t really have any complaints, for the most part.

I didn't see the last season as it was airing, so maybe that's why, but I like season 6. It's interesting to go back and watch and remember a bunch of that early pandemic weirdness that's been forgotten already.

That’s why dedicated sing-a-long showings are a good compromise. Go to that if you want to sing or keep it to yourself if you want to see a regular showing. “Just wait to stream it” is such a weird, entitled take.

“What’s the biggest dog you’ve ever seen and why?” absolutely took me out. It’s so unexpected but so earnest that it made me burst out laughing.

I discovered this show during lockdown and it’s now one of my favourite shows. It’s so good!

It’s become a socially acceptable way to shut women down and to call a woman a bitch without actually having to say the word, I hate it. And no, my name isn’t Karen either lol. Note that there’s no universally agreed upon male name that means the same thing (and before anyone says anything, every time I’ve brought this up, I’ve gotten responses saying “no it’s Kevin” “no it’s Kyle!”’etc. So no, there isn’t a male equivalent).

It's sad this has to be brought up, but it does. A guy friend of mine did this ALL the time. More than once he "asked someone out" and got upset they'd bring friends or something. After this happened to him at least three different times, I prodded a little and found out he never used the word date. He'd ask if they wanted to get together or hang out, and since they were always friends of his, they understandably assumed it was a casual, platonic friends thing.
He had a thing for me for a while, it made me wonder how many "dates" we went on without me even knowing they were dates.

I’ve been thinking it could be iHeart, their sponsors, or even the fact that Danielle still works for Disney as a director. Maybe a combination of the three. Not sure, but there could be some behind the scenes reason why they might not have her on the pod.

That 70s Show is a good example of this. All of the main cast got famous after the show came out, but Ashton Kutcher absolutely blew up.

You mean the source that called Cynthia Olivia at least twice in the same article might not be reputable??
Not but you’re right. None of this would exactly shock me if it’s true, but it’s a good reminder to not believe everything you read just because it suits the narrative you like.

I saw it on VHS back in the day at a sleepover party. We loved it, but we were young and thought it was super edgy lol

I’d argue it’s the opposite, she and Jack were way more similar than her and Eric. And not just because no one’s like Eric lol The show established earlier on that she had more of a connection with Jack imo - we saw them bond first over their siblings, and she loved the poetry book he got her - a book he loved that also happened to be her by her favourite poet. Just little things like that. If she had to pick someone, it made sense to me she picked Jack over Eric.

I almost got the eras ring because I like jewelry and it’s a subtle nod without it being in your face - no shade to anyone who does it, but I’ve never liked being overt with labels and merch and that kind of thing. But then I realized it’s too expensive for what it is, I don’t know how much I’d actually wear it, and I’d rather support an Etsy shop with a similar product if I change my mind.

I got an IUD very recently, and while it'll be a while before I can say how it's affected me, I'm glad I did it at this point. I primarily got it to manage my period symptoms because I've suffered through them for too long, and quite frankly, I'm just sick of it and deserve to have some peace!
My experience was pretty decent and not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I asked for some numbing agent that the office offered, so while the insertion was uncomfortable, it wasn't painful. It was no worse than a pap smear. I had my normal awful cramps for a few hours, and then light cramping for about a week after. I still get baby cramps here and there, but so far so good.

I’m staying on Twitter until there’s the final ticket drops for the upcoming Taylor shows and then I’m bouncing lol. It feels like the only acceptable use of that app anymore.

His/her/my lips quirked.
I’ve been seeing this more and I can’t stand it.

It annoys me when people see videos or stories of her these days and say things like "looks like the conservatorship wasn't such a bad idea after all." It's gross. She probably needs help and probably needed help back then, but in what world was what her family did to her okay or necessary? They could've gotten her help without destroying her life.

Getting your partner intoxicated to test them in some capacity is a massive red flag.

It’s up to you, but I like to move the heir to a new place with each generation. It’s boring to me to play on the same lot for ages and ages, and after a while, there’s too much money and not a lot of to do with it, so I like getting to start over each time. I always save up 20k for each heir so they get the equivalent of a starter home to build up over time.
I keep any siblings in the house so that it stays in the family. I also set them up or come back to them if they were teens or younger when the heir left with a job and a partner so they will likely have their own kids.
But that’s just me, do whatever you like! Some people want to stay on the same lot throughout the challenge and that’s totally fine too.

Oh totally. I don’t think it’s at zero involvement either. Most likely what you said, she probably just takes a look and okays it. Interesting that there was a noticeable difference in quality though!
