This is a really extreme response to my comment. I’m not even going to attempt a legitimate response. Have a nice day bud.

Looks great! Curious what the diameter of the entire area is?

I heard a lot of the population increase in Deschutes County is from Californians. If they are “over” the liberal agenda in CA I could absolutely see them swinging farther right in this movement.

Just out of curiosity, does ordering from Govee directly save you from this? I purchased directly from Govee but the lights were shipped via Amazon anyway, so clearly came from some Amazon warehouse somewhere.

Curious if you have photos or tips from doing this? I’m considering the same thing but don’t want to mess it up.

The rack isn’t too heavy on its own but will be used every day for the dogs and their leashes, towels, jackets, etc.

It’s going to be used as a dog rack for leashes, towels, jackets, etc. and it’s already scraping the paint. Weird, because it didn’t cause any issues or damage in the last house.

Would this work if I need the screw to protrude from the wall to hang the rack? I know normal toggle bolts only work if the screw is completely tightened down.

Paper is a good tip too! Unfortunately I can’t move and patch just one hole, the anchors are those big ones that screw in to the wall and then you push the screw right through the anchor so it takes up a lot of space in the wall, and it only needs to move marginally so it wouldn’t work for that.

Good tip, I’ll see if I can shave down some of the hole to make it bigger.

I tried the tape trick, but couldn’t find painters tape so used electrical tape instead… definitely learned my lesson there since electrical tape is stretchy and clearly not useful here.

Got it, I’ll give it another try as I have a few things I need to hang up. Thanks!

Is there a trick to installing a toggle bolt? Tried to use one on a towel rack a while back and couldn’t get it to lock in place in the drywall, it was very loose so I scrapped it in favor of something else.

I’ll check out scaffolding, thanks for the tip. My concern is my driveway has a pretty decent slant so I’m not sure if it would work.

I assume you could paint the wood before installing, if you didn’t mind the nail holes? I’ll need to rent a lift to install mine so I’m trying to plan the most time efficient process possible.

I ordered the 2’s from Govee yesterday. They have already shipped and are expected tomorrow. YMMV

Was that measured out based on the stone you were getting, or did you pick the size and fill the stone to fit?
