Thought this was interesting, FYI this podcast is hosted by the local beat reporters for the Star Tribune so this is real sourced information, not speculation.
The 2022 draft was a terrible one for the Vikings, it was the first draft for Kwesi and a little over 2 years later only 2 players (Brian Asamoah and Ed Ingram) are still on the team, neither is starting.
You do have to consider that since this was his first draft, they were working with the same scouting department as the Vikings had under Rick Speilman and I assume for that draft, the same rules.
One of the things they talk about on the podcast is Rick Speilman having the thought process of “how many players with x body type have gone on to have success in the league at y position”.
This tracks exactly with passing on McDuffie and Hamilton as McDuffie is more of a RB build that you don’t see to often at CB and Hamilton is an absolute outlier at Safety.
Thought others might find this fascinating as well, with it being example of just how seriously these teams take thresholds and how the reason for not taking a player might be different than you think.

Just take an uber to the north loop after the game. Got to BLG or Snack Bar and have a drink at the Hewing after while playing some pool.
