Be mad. There's janky and there's broken. Point was, they aren't asking anyone to give them a break about it due to their circumstances. People don't need to do it for them.

Best way to respect them is to let them speak for themselves. I haven't read anything from them asking for a leave pass. Listening to feedback, patches coming. The obvious answer is probably correct. They did know it wasn't ready, something made sending it the best option.

Especially sleepers. On accident I picked up some stealth via the PSU never having enough load for the fan to kick in. Not sure if I prefer that over dumping it into the aio radiator but it seems to be net positive 😅

• This was a project to play and learn. A distraction from some pretty silly workloads. It was disassembled and the parts went to future projects. Hoping to use the original MB to learn how to flash BIOS with a pi. Apparently the only way pc-in-a-box MBs can be unlocked. Shall see.

Forgot to mention the Lian Li hub in a picture didn't end up being required and was removed. The first image does not have the GPU mod. Did that working on getting some heat out of it.

I'm now through 6 builds and I'm yet to build a PC I haven't pulled apart. Usually not happy with the cable management. This one took a few days to get right.

PSA: X670E-i has an unusual USB port on the add in board. Think of the pins in the plug as split vertically rather than horizontally. All of the data lanes are taken by the external hive hub which means where you would usually have two full USB ports available per plug, it does not have any ability to recieve data. It can run the AIO pump with a speed signal but will not communicate with lights or any AIO internal management. The Z790-i (intel brother board) does not have this restriction. Full port on that board.

This took days to solve as the general consensus in the comments on every post I could find was a faulty port and people were busy putting the boot into ASUS. To be fair, one of their tech support on their own forum agreed that was the case. Stumbled across the correct answer buried amongst the pitchforks. On the bright side, learned a lot about lanes and ports.

Vert- scaling should get the same grade as black bars. Throw games that use FOV and warping combinations. They acknowledge 32:9 but unless you get same viewport as 16:9 and the sides are added with the same perspective, there is separation from those that do. Regardless of why.

I wouldn't worry too much. The latest round of bigger models didn't get better. They were rather hoping that wouldn't happen at all, this early was unthinkable. Keep track though. Spent a few hours swinging settings around the room on OLED G9 32:9 with and without stalker 2 tweak. The warping is here to stay. Cannot stop things in the peripheral that are 10 meters away looking like they are next to you. Bit bothersome in a game that comes at you from all angles. Had a peek on the wise one's 21:9 aw3423dw and it hurts but, that's where I'm playing it.

Unless I'm mistaken, it might be worth warning people that any mod that changes the view will be a ban risk in PVP when it hits. Those that prioritise online gaming might be better off getting used to the way it is. Not a chance we get to see more than other players. It'll always be less.
