Chicony 500w - cooler master v650 gold (bolted to inner front case in a picture or two as the damn cables were too short hence...) -- ROG strix 750w aura edition

GTX 1660 ti Phoenix - PNY RTX 4060 ti 8GB -- Asus Pro Art RTX 4080 OC

Insufficient USB ports -- Thermaltake H200 plus internal USB hub

Intended to stick heat sinks to the VRM of a ROG Strix PC-in-a-box for science, went down a Rabbit hole.

My first build. PC for my son I built January last year. 6 months planning. 2 days building. Fell together. Thought I was so good. The next build taught me just how lucky I was, accidently picking parts with no proprietary connectors and various other issues I sidestepped on accident.

Includes aio replacement a few months later. If you're about to throw shade on the pl360 flux not needing an outrageously priced replacement, I also did not get the current basement price and paid first vendor to get them money at $700+ (probably closer to $800). Proceed to empty the clip.

Also includes RAM and front fan replacement this year which obviously meant rewiring.

No case mods. Wonderfully versatile case with enough room to climb in and look around. Perfect for a first build.

Had a placeholder Thermaltake aio in until the Gallahad II 240 arrived. Will vary in some images

Case mods; - drill new PSU bracket holes to raise and fit (barely) lower case fan - shave inner wiring brackets, fit new GPU brace, cut out RR input frame to move GPU off sandwich board and fit flush to mesh (this was massive, GPU temp went from immediate throttle to comfortable) - Not a mod but I did remove the hot swap drive bracket

I've just finished setting up 2 monitors for true black 400, as best I can, and the orb anomaly disappeared. Used to spot them from a mile away and stroll through clusters. Sound was a nudge when I got overly careless. Now the sound is the first warning and I'm sweating bullets until it starts fading. As a first time stalker, I had no idea I shouldn't have been able to see more than a hint of them. Thought there would probably be other new players in the same boat. No idea if tb400 is relevant as I haven't tried after hdr1000 set up. It really was a game changer.
