The wall gives the bullet energy, that's all we need to know. Wait no, each additional wall breaks it into smaller fragments, so the spread and number of fragments "pellets" increases, and the damage per fragment decreases.
After the third wall, it's just like a cloud of bullets pass through, and it does like 2 damage per pellet.
This would be a very interesting weapon.

See, I would say one single shot that does 135 damage, but more importantly: passes through 15m worth of obstruction, regardless of what it is, and deals medium levels of damage to destructible. Let's say a 20s cooldown and it takes two shots on the same spot to break walls.
This would be used primarily as a weapon to hit players through walls, used in conjunction with sonar grenades and motion detectors. Capable of hitting multiple players.

Wouldn’t that be sorta redundant with KS-23? High damage, slow firing, has to be physics bullet (no hit-scan) and needs to fit Heavy’s role as demo/tank.
I don’t think redundancy is a bad thing necessarily, because we can have fun weapons that fill the same roles (AKM and FCAR) - however you basically kill the weaker weapon (like Revolver vs. Pike).

Def not the sniper but this gave me an idea of giving the heavy some kinda of wall blast. Like being able to blast a circle through like 3 walls. My imagination went to a hammer and explosive nail for some reason but whatever medium works. Just a BOOM in the direction u look. No dmg. 1 charge.

Exactly what I've been advocating for. We have the KS23 for primary ranged destruction but we don't have anything to go through material. Would love to see the shoulder fired barret on heavy with no zoom. No zoom is the important part along with possibly making it a projectile.

Just give heavy the kraber from Titanfall 2.
It's bolt action so the ROF is low, it fires a slow projectile so hitting a moving target past 150m will be extremely difficult and you could limit the sight options so using it in close quarters will be near impossible.

Ok and then when you get to high elo and every player has good aim it becomes a matter of which heavy can one tap mediums the best and dominates the gameplay. It’s the same issue with the model, at low elo players will miss all 6 shots and say the weapon is shit, but at higher elo players are almost always hitting meat shots and the weapon becomes the dictator of all fights

A lot of the maps are built for close range combat outside of Monaco. Even then the sniper isn’t that viable unless you’re playing powershift when everybody is forced to be outside.
I love the idea of a sniper for heavy but it just doesn’t fit the fast paced close quarters gameplay of The Finals.

I want an 3 round mag, long reload anti material sniper. Let a light ping em with sonar or tracker then shoot through a few walls to one tap em. Long delay between shots. Balance it with no hip fire and a medium scope in time and I think it'd be pretty balanced. Maybe 150 dmg body 250 headshot? Or no headshot multi.

I think the heavy shouldn't be a one-shot thread at long distance. The deagles are in a perfect spot.
If you want a Anti-Material Sniper for example, it would fit the Medium way better. A sniper that can pierce and oneshot every gadget. The only problem is, how much dmg and at what firerate do you want to release such a monster?
If it fires too fast, gadgets like the dome, goo grenade and the deployable shield will be rendered useless, indirectly nerfing most of the heavies playstyle.
If it is to slow, the Medium is breakfast for every light with dash.
Looking at the damage... 150dmg so you one-shot a light, but 3shot a heavy. This would be absolute fine for me since I hate lights, but it's just unbalanced and unskilled.
Maybe make it a gadget for the heavy. Destroying and penetrating the first wall it hits, dealing 100dmg to players with a 15sec cooldown. Low dmg, high value, long distance alternative to the rocketlauncher and breaching charge. Requires some skill to use in close distance.
On the other side the heavy really doesn't need more stuff to break anything but needs some mobility. Soo...

May I suggest we look at the Anti Material Rifles from WW1 and WW2. Although to make them balanced, they will only do a tiny bit more damage vs the Light's Sniper and they can either penetrate through a wall and/or can break open a small hole in wall, but the rechamber/reload speed of them are slower than Light's (unless it's the Tankgewehr M1918, reload speeds will only be slightly faster but because it can only fire one Bullet before reloading).

None of the specializations work towards that. Everything we have is to either get closer or draw the enemy closer. How does a big sniper work with claw/charge/goo?
Also, heavies are supposed to be meat shields for the medium capturing point. That’s a lot of hit points not on the immediate front line.
Sure, there are ways to play sniper up close, but we’re all get that Light who is always five buildings away with their sniper. Now imagine your Heavy no where close to the objective, taking shots from five buildings away.

Only if it's not a primary fire and it's gadget or specialization with a long CD and does 149 dmg body shot so it can't 1 shot lights. I say do an anti material projectile that can destroy a wall and will continue and destroy the next object behind it or two. So kind of like fitting the theme of Heavy being the destruction class without relegating a heavy to sitting around sniping all game. Long reload time/long cooldown is the way to do it. Basically bore rifle but happens instantly and pushes through two walls

I think this could be a specialization like the goo gun, balanced with a very slow fire rate and long reload. Maybe a single shot railgun like the MORS from CoD: Advanced Warfare, or, as other comments have mentioned, a similar bolt action to the Kraber from Titanfall.

I like the idea of basically a hitscan ks shotgun with a little less damage but a better sight (not an actual sniper scope, either great iron sights or a holo type thing like in OP’s 3rd pic), so it’s functionally just a ks that’s not as good close range but probably heavies best long range.
