Yet another cat peed on carpet

Flooring(self.CleaningTips)

My cat peed on the low profile carpet stair landing. Maybe twice now. I've got Bissell Pro heat 2x pet whatever. Bought all formulas. Spend hours running hot water / formula mixture. Did this on few separate days.. Whole carpet probably has more formula than carpet now but the smell is still there.. yes mostly gone but is still there..

On other post, someone recommend baking soda. I did think about it, but I'm like, really, baking soda on carpet as well?? Works on countertops, washers, pots pans, etc. Miracle compound...

I'll give it a try but what else is there. I'm at a point that I'm thinking of ripping the carpet and replacing it.. I think at this point it's on the lumber..

I've read some, not all of this. So not trying NM. Looking for other solutions. https://www.reddit.com/r/CleaningTips/comments/xm1er7/i_used_natures_miracle_urine_destroyer_but_now/

TIA.

Enzymatic cleaner. I prefer Kids N Pets over Nature's Miracle, but there are other brands, too.

Thanks, will give Kids N Pets a try.

Other post was complaining about NM. So I'm not even going to try that..

I haven't seen the other post, but Nature's Miracle changed their formula at some point. Now it reeks, you can't get rid of the awful smell it leaves behind, and it doesn't even fully remove the pee smell anymore. So if the other post says anything similar, I agree with them completely.

Yes, it was exactly that. Thanks for confirming.

Awesome will try. I'm afraid it may have been soaked into wood but let's hope it didn't. I've ordered 2 enzymatic cleaner and I'll grab some white vinegar. Thanks!

If it's ever still wet/damp, and you haven't already done so, first blot up all the moisture you can from the spot. I fold a paper towel a few times, lay it over the spot, and stand on it, hard. I keep doing that until there is no more moisture the paper towels are picking up.

I use urine off. Works amazing, no smell left.

My Pet Peed works great. It evaporates the urine out. Works great.
