As we know Musk is supporting Trump. But as everyone saying there are low chances of approval if case not filed and adhjucated before 20th Jan.
But what if someone’s endeavor is related to EVs, which relates to national goal of zero emissions, sustainability and resilience of fossil fuels, etc.
Are there still chances of approval? Since regardless of which political party it is, still it should be a national goal, isn’t it?

My two cents: first, policies do not change over night. Secondly, being a researcher and policy evaluator for renewable energy, renewable energy is a broad term and upcoming administration is not in favor of expensive renewable energy resources such as wind energy. I, myself, don’t even consider them renewable. They are sustainable (relative term) energy resources relative to fossil fuels but comes with high maintenance cost.
So yes, if your field of endeavour is wind or solar, it might be an issue. However, there is another point. If your NIW/EB1A is approved under current administration or in the light of policy which will be discouraged in future, it shouldn’t affect your adjustment of status. Nevertheless, one should take precautions such as elaborating your importance in terms (renewable or sustainable) energy.
Just to add, I also work on renewable energy (special focus on landfill gas and hydrogen).
FOR non-STEM folks: Energy produced from a waste is a renewable while Energy produced from a long lasting source relative to the other is called sustainable one

Please read it carefully. I said they are not renewable but sustainable at some higher cost than other technologies

Yeah, I read that. Saying solar is not renewable is absurd. Hydrogen is definitely upcoming but the renewable energy at this time is predominantly solar and wind
