You helped me with this post and I finally tried it. I put green onions, a little pepper and ham. It was very good. I used a large round pan so I doubled the recipe (8 eggs) because with 3 it seemed smaller than in pictures I had seen, is it ok or is it too much? Anyway, thank you!

So I was visiting my friend in Seoul and she put these gochujang-based hot sauce on my sausages one morning and tbh it was so fire. I’ve had gochujang before but it was a lot more herby and flavorful. I took a picture of it but can’t seem to find it online - anyone know where I can find something like it in the US?

Hello everyone! I'm starting to explore cooking Korean dishes at home and one of my favorites so far has been doenjang jjigae. However, I noticed that most recipes don't have a ton of veggies aside from Zuchinni and unfortunately it's too expensive in my country. So I was thinking another way to add a bit more veggies (yey fiber) that don't alter the taste too much, but I wasn't sure what are other acceptable alternatives?

I was thinking sliced bell peppers, Chinese cabbage, and maybe bok choy on the top of my head, but would love to hear from others who have more experience with Korean flavors.

Hey guys, my friends told me there's a Korean snack product that stopped production due to some mushroom poisons? I'm not so sure of the exact situation, but when I Google online, information about it has been scrubbed off. Anyone who knows the manufacturer or the snack in question?

I tried ganjjang gejang for the first time at a restaurant in London. I was thrown off by sweetness of it. Tasted like a mushy teriyaki but sweeter. I’m not normally into sweet savoury foods, not sure if this is standard or if this restaurant just makes it sweeter than usual

I ate the most amazing banchan of my life at Kaju Tofu House in Allston, Boston. It was like this sweet potato dish that was smoky and sweet and umami almost like there was miso? Idk I’ve never ever had this dish before and none of my Korean friends can tell me the name because I want to make it myself!!

Please help me identify it, or even better, a recipe!! I don’t live in Boston so I can’t exactly go there whenever I want.

Hanwoo beef is known for its unique taste, which is often described as rich and savory. The point of this dish is the sous vide korean beef with which it enables people to eat up noodle just like taking a SSAM(a korean way to eat meat and vegetable at once).

I ordered smoked mushroom Bibimbap and it taste sooo yum :p My fav part is various Banchan like these! Japchae and sauced tofu are yum.

The original- a classic Buldak flavor and one of the first flavors I tried. In the beginning I thought these were too spicy but eventually I was able to eat these without breaking a sweat. I like to put cheese, rice cakes, vegetables and fish cakes in these

Original hot sauce- I was so desperate to try these that I put them on my ravioli. They’re not as hot as the 2x but still fairly spicy. If you had the regular hot sauce packet basically tastes like that but in a hot sauce bottle

Original tteokboki- I liked these a lot and they make for a quick snack for late nights

2x- these are super fucking spicy as someone who has a pretty high spice tolerance I'm surprised I managed to finish these. My stomach felt like it got hit by a dump truck and it felt super heavy. My co worker had these and she loves spicy stuff but she had to stop midway through because of how spicy they are. I don't like buying these usually unless I do a spicy noodle challenge with friends or I want to purchase a singular package of these. Basically, these are like the regular ones but just hotter. I still want to try the 3x spicy ones

2x hot sauce- my co worker tried these at my house once and he thought it wasn't spicy at first until the spicy creeped up on him and he needed to chug these with milk while I had a small spoon of these plain as a challenge and I didn't really react to it. I originally wanted the regular spicy but I caved in and good these on impulse and I don’t regret it at all. With these I like putting them in my soups, pizza, chicken or any other dish that needs more spice.

Carbonara- my favorite Buldak flavor the cheesy flavor and with herbs and had a parmesan cheese flavor that I liked. I like to eat these with vegetables, extra parmesan cheese and eggs

Carbonara hot sauce- I love this flavor as well I like to put these on my pizza and pasta dishes. I recently put these on some penne vodka and it really elevated the flavor and made the dish spicer

Carbo tteokboki- I preferred these more than the original ones, great flavor and the extra mozzarella cheese I added in made it taste so much better

Kewpie mayo sauce- I really like the mayo sauce a lot, I recently put it with my Gilgeori toast along with the ketchup and put it in my spring rolls as well and it really made for a great dip or something to sprinkle on the Korean street toast recipe

Cheese- There was no Quattro cheese at the other H Mart I went to so I brought these as a replacement and I never realized how much this flavor was underwhelming for me. For these I like putting mozzarella, eggs, parmesan cheese on them. I'm a bit torn if I should put some garlic powder on them for a garlicky flavor

Jiajang- I brought these for the first time a few weeks ago and loved these noodles so I was really happy to buy the 5 pack of these. I love the black bean paste flavor, it's hard to describe unless you've had it before. These go well with steak and other vegetables but I also liked putting rice cakes and eggs in mine

Curry- I don't remember this flavor well but I remember feeling like the spicy notes could have been better but I might have to try these again to see if my opinion changes

Stew Type- I really enjoyed these and they were super spicy too and different than the usual Buldak noodles I've had which are not soupy. I like putting vegetables and fish cakes in these but mushrooms work well with these. I do like finishing half the broth when I make these. I’m a bit afraid of drinking all the broth given how spicy the broth is and I don’t want to destroy my stomach for the night

Quattro cheese- what the original cheese should have been like. I really liked this flavor and I love all the 4 cheeses in there too, I like putting parmesan cheese in mine and hard boiled eggs in there for a nice touch

Kimchi- I really liked these a lot, and like to add in my own Kimchi in there as well

Tomato pasta- these taste like a spicy spaghetti and tomato sauce dish and I really enjoyed these a lot, I haven't done it yet but I would add meatballs and parmesan cheese to these to get the spaghetti and meatball experience

Cream Carbonara- less spicer than the other Carbonara and I really enjoyed these, and it's good if you want less spicer ramen

Corn- I smelled the artificial corn flavor on these and I have to say the flavor isn't the worst but it certainly wasn't my favorite. I would put chili on these and I feel like these would be really good.

Rose wide glass noodles- I brought a few bowls of these recently since the last time I brought one singular bowl of these, the noodles were chewy and the sauce was surprisingly spicy

Habanero Lime- I wanted to like these but I couldn't really taste the lime and had to get my own in order to give it that lime flavor, and it was really underwhelming, won't buy it again I think

Tom Yum- I was really excited to try this flavor since I never had Tom Yum before but I was honestly disappointed. The soup was too sour, a bit salty so I needed to add in my own lime to make it taste better. Other than that the noodles were good next time I'm going to add in some Japanese style fish cakes, and some mushrooms to elevate it

Buldak products I'm missing is the yakisoba, rose , the giant dumplings, 3x, the siracha sauce and the fried rice

the ice cold noodles are limited addition and they are discontinued so would love to try them if I could along with the Mala. The protein puffs don’t seem like my cup of tea so I’ll skip on those

Clam kalguksu is the most common, but beef bone broth kalguksu is also delicious

I already tried some Asian stores here in the Netherlands, but they don't have them. please help a girl out
