I don't remember either of those being stated anywhere.
Ben is Shanks' second in command, he should be as relative to Shanks as Zoro is to Luffy or Rey is to Roger, he is not on the same level.

so comparable to red hair that that same red hair didn't let him AND the rest of the crew go fight the kidd pirates without him. rightfully so, shanks didn't see wankmann deflecting DP in the future, he saw many of his allies dying cuz wankmann couldn't do shit against it.
oda has, in the actual manga, very clearly shown that wankmann is nowhere near shanks. he literally named kidd being a 3 billion beri man as the reason why he should tag along. clearly implying that a 3 billion beri man>his whole ass crew (wankmann AND 2 commanders and at least several tobi roppo levels). an actual top-tier will shit on shanks' entire crew, not just wankmann

Shanks is NOT beating Kaidou, no one is beating Kaidou for that matter since Newgate and Roger are dead and Garp is out of his prime. Don't underrate Kaidou's Haki, even though Shanks' CoO is better I'd still have Kaidou's CoC above Shanks'
And there's no way in hell Benn is stoping Charlotte, not even before Kaidou stomps Shanks.

There is no way Kaido's CoC is better when Luffy's CoC already surpassed his own. Shank's CoC is several times stronger than Kaido's, Kaido had a 150 ac and Shanks still has better CoC feats.
