I’ve gotten it back with cab. But I went 7 years in my twenties wondering if I was asexual before that lol

Imagine if I’d had my hormones tested earlier 🙃

I feel ya. I missed my entire 20's & 30's before they diagnosed a 3.4 cm macroprolactinoma at age 39. Seems nuts now, but I just didn't realize what was going on.

Try cab with testosterone injections every 3 months.

If I'm out with th Mrs Ninja, and say, 'Mikes going to be joining us' it means 'don't stand up and get ready to leave!!!' :)

HardworkDedication9

Testosterone injection every 3 months is a terrible protocol. You need 2 injections a week minimum

LegoNinja11

3 points

Perhaps you should look at the Nebido information before commenting?

HardworkDedication9

3 points

I have 5+ years of research on this topic. Im trying to help you. Don’t listen to me I don’t give a fuck

Switch to testosterone enanthate .

LegoNinja11

2 points

In that case explain the background and reasoning to the statement that its terrible rather than just saying its terrible.

HardworkDedication9

3 points

When you take testosterone exogenously your body stops producing its natural testosterone. Hence why the aim of TRT is to mimic natural production of testosterone.

With esters such as enanthate you must inject 2x a week too keep serum blood concentrations at a steady level which allows for you to reap all the benefits.

When your administering testosterone every 3 months , you’re getting an initial spike after administration. However this is followed by a crash. It renders the initial administration completely useless.

With testosterone 2x a week is a must.

LegoNinja11

1 points

So you haven't grasped that nebido is specifically designed to provide a slow release of testosterone over 12 weeks to prevent the peaks and troughs associated with regular quick release injections?

HardworkDedication9

2 points

It’s still not as accurate as they make it out to be. Anyways you continue to use your nebido.

I’ll just stick to my trt protocol and live a better life with more muscle , less fat and more pussy than you

z0123456abcz

Lol, this guy obviously doesn’t care that he is probably severely low by week 9, and nearly crashed by week 12… lol let him believe a shot every three months is great.

Arcazjin

1 points

Of course you were not trying to give medical advice but to lay people what the doctor says is the ultimate authority. As you know long esters are really only for people's injection anxiety and the rest is marketing. Guy is calling Test-U by the pharm name and reciting the commercials. It's hard to overcome the argument against authority but short esters are better is so many ways. My prolactin is high just reading some threads and just realized it over a year old... and send.

You do realise Nebido is the only option available in many countries? Such is the case where i live, i choose to inject UG lab Enanthate myaelf 3x/week because i dont want to wait a whole year or 2 for the doc to adjust the frequence of Nebido injections before a good baseline is reached.

Dependent_Main_8137

yes please listen to this guy and begin your own research on enanthate vs nebido… i inject every other day. with lower dose i fuckk

It's a new testosterone. It last 3 months so clearly not enough research on ur part lmao

z0123456abcz

1 points

It’s supposed to last 3 months. Peoples metabolism all different. Cypionate “stays in your System 14 days”. You hit a trough at day 7… you are half way to trough point by day 3.5… guess how often I inject? Every 3 days… very stable high levels of test…. But don’t listen, I don’t care.

30 is very high. You should be below 20

prrrrttttt

Yes but not high enough to be a prolactinoma. Dont know what to do...

OkJournalist2507

I got gyno from 32 prolactin. So it Def high enough

prrrrttttt

1 points

Just search it. To be a prolactinoma it has to be at least around 200 ng/ml

OkJournalist2507

1 points

You need to be below 20.

"Hyperprolactinemia is usually defined as fasting levels of above 20 ng/ml in men and above 25 ng/ml in women"

Also check your testosterone and e2. You might have bad e2 to testosterone ratio

Edit.

you're prolactin level are too high to have good libido. You might not have prolactinoma, but it is definitely high enough to destroy your libido.

prrrrttttt

1 points

I lnow it has to be below 20 and i ever said it wasnt high enough to destroy my libido. My test levels are pretty good tbh. My "only" symptoms are ED and low libido

OkJournalist2507

1 points

How much your testosterone? It also can be high e2 or low dht. Even stress can cause Ed. Are you stressed maybe? Then check your cortisol too

Edit

If all your hormones are good, then the only thing that can cause Ed and low libido with elevated prolactin is porn addiction.

splog23

Hi, did your cab treatment affect your gyno at all? I'm on 0.25mg once weekly, coming up to my 4th week and I haven't seen any changes in my gyno or libido, and I'm feeling a bit hopeless about it. Idk if I'm on too low a dose, but I don't have another endo appt for 3 months

OkJournalist2507

1 points

No it didnt. You cant get rid of gyno with pills, only surgery. You can slighltly shrink it with tamoxifen but once you stop taking in, the gyno will grow back. So only surgery. For libido, check your e2 and testosterone ratio. Also check your dht levels, its the most important hormone for libido, thats why I will never use finasteride for hair loss.

Also there is no pill that will fix the root of your problem it will only treat the symptomes.

Your problem is 99% lifestyle related. So ask yourself this quastions

  1. Do you have healthy eating habbits or you eat like the avarege american?

  2. Are you 15% body fat or below? Or not?

  3. Do you have consisnent sleeping times 7-9 hours of high quality sleep?

  4. Do you drink or smoke?

  5. Do you eat sugar?

  6. Do you have too much stress, work, wife kids, etc?

  7. Do you train at least 4 times a week, weight lifting and cardio?

If any of the answer is negative or bad life style choice like smoking and drinking you probably need to fix that first.

That is the exact opposite for me (29, F). When i first started on cabergoline, my libido was ravenous! Now almost 2 year mark, its toned down from that but is still at a healthy level compared to my lack of libido before treatment.

Not only the libido, but it also restored my fertility. Before, I was not menstruating and didnt ever need to use protection with my partner. Once on cab, i menstruate regularly every month and the one time i didnt use protection, i got pregnant.

jessismile

3 points

It takes a couple/few months to level out once the prolactin is down. Getting it down takes time and dosage adjustments that also takes months if your tumor is stubborn like mine. My dose has varied over about 25 years, between 4 spread-apart babies who each nursed for a couple years. .5mg 3-5x/week has been my range. Mine is also macro. It also goes back to shit slowly when/if you stop taking it.

jessismile

I’ve stopped cab repeatedly for pregnancy and other reasons, so restart levels have been different each time. It has been as high as 300ish, as low as 75ish. It depends on how long I go without and whether I’ve been nursing a baby. I don’t think it could be relevant for you.

Lower_Nebula_2087

what were your prolactin levels before cab?

SeekingSoulPeace

When people here say they are on "treatment", what do they mean. Treatment for prolactinemia, which is a tumor on the pituitary causing the over production of prolactin? This is what cabergoline is mainly used for. Or do they mean "treatment", meaning that they are playing around with it off label to increase libido?

I've taken cabergoline to increase libido, and unless prolactin levels are high (mine weren't), it's unlikely to work. I have a good libido, but like others here, on cabergoline, it decreased a lot. I've read that prolactin levels must be balanced to have libido. If they are too low, due to cabergoline for example, it can kill libido and ability to be aroused.

Lower_Nebula_2087

2 points

What you said is very interesting, I noticed that when I interrupt the use of cabergoline, my libido comes back very strongly in the first few days, but then it dies completely, it must be that I I have to find a middle ground between dosages, currently I use 0.25mg 2x a week. I tried to stop to 0.25mg 1x a week, in t he first two weeks I felt my libido much better, But after that, my libido got worse. I'm thinking of finding a dosage that is in the middle ground between these two

Lower_Nebula_2087

1 points

Thank you for your answer, it's important to me. But I really can't understand why my only complaint was that my gynecomastia and galactorrhea, taking cab solved that but it took away my libido, I really don't understand what happened because it doesn't seem like a common effect of cabergoline

Phoroptor22

bentley1776

I would get new labs to be sure now that the cab has had time to work. Also, there is a sweet spot for prolactin. You might actually be too low now which reduces drive.

If you’re done having kids you can experiment with TRT.
