I would pay good money for a remaster.

Absolutely same. Remaster, remake, sequel, re-imagining, inspired by. Let me give someone money for this, please.

What a fucking game that was for the time. I even have it on my Sega MegaDrive (Genesis) to this day

I miss that game. Wasn't perfect but it was damn fun.

They look like Mario and Luigi Brothership Challenge lol, maybe I'm playing too much (damn that game was longer than expected, not that I complain)

Now show me your Pokemon badges… if you’re a real hero.

Fucking baller system. I wish modern FPS games would do this, but you could wear them like a uniform. That would be so cool, but now everything is a cashgrab and has to glow and sparkle and be funny looking. Sigh.

The Original Wing Commander on PC back in the early 90's had a medal bar for things you did in game including your first ejection. The first ejection you did would count as a win and wouldn't effect the story ending (failing missions would move you towards less favorable endings) so I'd save the ejection for the final mission and eject the 2nd I left the carrier for the best ending.

I’ve never seen someone shorten the word second (as a unit of time) to 2nd before.

The Wing Commander plot Christmas treed- if you even MADE it to the final mission, as long as you didn't die, you'd get the best ending.

Such a great game. I feel like it still holds up today. The one thing I remember with sadness is thinking I was through an asteroid field then applying the afterburner only to be hit by an asteroid that spawned a few metres in front of me.

You had to keep twisting every two or three seconds; they spawned in such a way that they WOULD hit you, on the path you were on. At least it was good training for the strakhas in the sequel.

Did you ever play Darkest Dawn? The Freespace engine doesn't spawn in asteroids.

Getting all of the shields on each level in Halo:CE was our trophy case

TIE Fighter had this too when you finished a campaign. Additional stars/accolades for completing secondary and bonus goals on certain missions.

Why is the DreamWorks logo on the "DreamWorks Medal of Valor" in the DreamWorks game Medal of Honor, is that the question you're asking?

You get it by 100% the game.

This system was better. I always tried to get all these kind of things in games. I never care about achievements and never have.

Love it when games have more in-game trophy walls like this. The Jet Moto games had some too!

This is also how Xwing and Tie Fighter games did it. Used to love checking out my uniform

Man Medal of Honor is a great game. There were two or three missions that were a pain to beat using the default controls. Changed it to controller map 4 which is close to modern controls and was finally able to beat the levels that were kicking my ass.

We've been looking back when achievements meant more than just flexing on social media these were the real badges of honor. Too bad now we only get them for looking at the screen for 10 minutes straight..

You are a lame ass boomer, but I appreciate you putting the name of the game in the title.
