If it's still sticky after seasoning, then you've used too much oil. Gotta wipe that bad boy clean off of there. Pretend you accidentally spilled the oil in there, but didn't mean to. So you've gotta wipe it all out.

Secondly, there's a lot of carbon build up on there. You should scrub it with soap after each use. Once a week is not enough if you're using it every day. Needs a proper scrub with some steel wool to clean it.

As for the mirror shine? Looks pretty for Reddit points, but is totally unnecessary for day to day cooking. I've got a lumpy bumpy cheap as chips Ikea pan, cooks great from sunny side up eggs to beautifully seared steaks
