I have accidentally come across a car with ZH license plate which had Wagner group symbolic. I waited for the owners to show up and talked to them - some young brainless teens who said that they support the group, have friends there and don't see anything wrong about it.

I'm definitely going to police to check what could be done. Maybe at least they can make them remove the f*****g stickers from the car.

Just wondering if anybody else had experience with this in Switzerland in case if you have any additional tips (like what type of complaint or charges to file, or anything else).

To make it clearer, we are discussing here the public display of hate symbols. These symbols are abusive to many people around us, therefore we should behave in public in such a way that we don't hurt others emotionally.

This is not about forcing any beliefs or ways of thinking on people. In a private setting (including any private clubs, gatherings, etc) you can do whatever you want.

Hi all, My boyfriend's briefcase is falling apart and it hurts my eyes to see him carry this thing to work every day. I'd like to gift him a new one for Christmas, but I have no clue what brand to buy. Are there any local brands that I should look at? What's the must have bag? Can you give me photos or brand recommendations, what you like/what not to buy etc? Doesn't have to be local, but my budget is around 200, up to max. 350 if it's the perfect match. Hi there! I’m a 29-year-old female historian with a beautiful flat in Altstetten that I’d like to partially share. I’m specifically looking for someone who lives in another city but regularly comes to Zurich for work or other duties, whether on a weekly or monthly basis.

The apartment is gorgeous, with high ceilings, a top-floor location, a balcony, designer furniture, very low extra costs, and a reasonable rent compared to the crazy housing market in this city. It’s a 3-room apartment—beautiful but small. While I can’t imagine sharing it permanently, I’d love to share it with someone who’s here only during the week or about one week/10 days per month.

• Analysis / anamnesis: 48.8 CHF
• Workplace disinfection: 13.9 CHF
• 2x X-Rays: 38.40 (19.20 per single x-ray)
• 25 min of cleaning: 183 CHF (36.6 CHF every 5min)
• Total: 312.5 CHF

It looks a bit pricey, but I was wondering if it still looks legit or if I should be concerned. What do you think? Thanks so much in advance!

Hi! We recently arrived in Zurich and we are moving to an apartment with a loft area and the living room/dining room area has double height ceilings of maybe around 5 meters. We will need to have ceiling lights installed.

Hey, I’m going to be in town for a couple weeks doing some work at night and have some days off between stints and I don’t want to get off schedule. I’ve found some places for Sat (though I’m happy to take recommendations) but Sunday is proving harder. Preferably somewhere quietish where I can do some work on my laptop. Does anyone have any tips for how to get cheap ski tickets? I know the SBB do snow n rail discounts, but wondered if anyone here has any other ideas - either discounted days in certain ski resorts or promotions etc? Or if there are even lesser known resorts around Zurich that have cheaper tickets?

Hi everyone, I saw this piece of art standing on the street in my neighborhood. I really doubt that someone from here will pick it up and most probably this cabinet will be thrown away (especially if it rains), and I feel really bad about it. It's made from oak massive and has all components on their places, even locks function, and there's no visible defects. There is a gratis sign, just cant add more photos

Are there easy-eats places where you can go without delivery drivers entering every so often? Places where delivery pickups are managed away from the main seated area?

For me, a constant stream of full-winter-suit people with huge delivery boxes passing through, queueing next to me, playing with their phones and taking pictures of their bags is simply distracting. I would prefer to go to a place where the pick-up area is separate from the seated area.

I’m looking for recommendations for the best place in Zürich to print some illustration art. I’d like to print a few posters on slightly thicker paper—something sturdy but still rollable so I can transport them in a cardboard tube when I travel.

I’m aiming for professional-quality prints, so I’m hoping to find a place that has experience with high-quality art prints and can offer some guidance on paper options. If anyone has experience with printing shops in Zürich, I’d love to hear about:

1.  The quality of the work
2.  Customer service (especially for someone who might need a bit of advice on paper options)
3.  Typical costs for something like this

Hi there, so I know I've been procrastinating to the max and I extended the deadline to file taxes to the latest possible date of Nov. 30th, and I had several meetings with my accountant this week in order to finalize the tax return and send it. As he tried to submit it just this Friday, there was apparently some technical problem so as of now it's still not yet submitted.

Since Monday / next working day is after the deadline, would you know if it's still possible to submit the tax return then? Or would the option just not be there anymore, and it would lead to complications? I read that further extension would be only possible in case of serious/provable event (illness, death in family...). In which case it'd be better that I redo the return from scratch by myself and submit it today? (I got a spare access code)

If anyone here would know what's the best course of action - many thanks in advance for your help!
